Bottled. Pours black with a huge creamy, tan head with fair lacings. Nose of roasted maltand smokey notes. Flavour of chocolate, roast and chili. Full bodied, Average carbonation and oily texture. Ends up with a nice chili taste. My favorites chilis and beers combined: Nice!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Great brew. Poured with a large tan head that quickly settled down to a light cover that lasts and some lace. Color is an absolutely opaque brown black. Aroma is dark malt, loam, toffee, cocoa, coffee, and a hint of chipotle. Flavor is much the same as nose with a little bittersweetness coming out. Body is good and so is carbonation. Finish is like flavor and has good lenght. Very easy, slow drinking beer with just enough edge from the chipotle to keep it interesting. Well done.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
(on tap @ Café Langebro) Pours pitch black with a rich, toffee head that laces the glass. Aroma of smoke that is gradually complemented by vinous notes as the brew gains room temperature. Taste is very classical porter style with an absence of sweetness and dominance of the dark bitterness of hops and toasted malts. Notes of coffee, dark chocolate and a distinct, gently burning chili aftertaste. Creamy on the palate, full-bodied, softly carbonated and with a long, burning finish. Girlfriend says: "It tickles the tongue in the beginning."

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample thanks to Armin. Dark chocolate brown pour, little carbonation and an aroma of chipotle peppers(and nothing else.) Flavor is light malt, spicy chipotle peppers and a nice smokey heat that lingers. Very good for a chili beer!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
[Bottle] shared by Armin. Thanks! Pours tarry black with a large head of big bubbles. Aroma is smoky, moderately roasty and ashy, and the pepper is in the background. Flavor is nicely roasty, perfect amount of pepper spiciness hiding behind the smoke. Finish is a nice lingering heat and roast.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Discount Liquor, pours dark black with off white almost tan head, aroma has notes of vegetal peppers, smoke, chocolate, touch of wine taste. Taste is some nice smoke, chocolate, slight vegetal notes with a nice peppery slightly hot finish with a slightly dry finish. Good stuff, the peppers are spicy but compliment instead of take over the beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Refreshing taste with hints of coffee, chocolate, chili. A flavor that is most similar to moist air the day after rain and very refreshing. Strong smoky aftertaste.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Smell: A really roasty, coffe, havreflarn (sort of like a oatmeal cookie).
Taste: Grapefruit, chocolait, burnt, havreflarn and a quite a heat.
Mouthfell: Thick, robust, some heat.
Notes: A nice robust porter, interesting, but not one I’ll be dying to try again.
