Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Aroma coming right out of the bottle. Cocoa, dark chocolate, subtle coffee and a hint of peppery vegetables. Pitch black colour with an oily texture that would fit an Imperial Stout. Dark brown head as well, though short lasting. Immediately shows lower carbonation, even visually. Very interesting in taste. Not very hot, but that is logical with chipotles. Rather a peppery paprika like note in the flavour. Otherwise it is rich and strong with mostly roasted malts, ashy, dark chocolate, slightly burnt. With an upped ABV this could be a mean bitch, right now it is more of a curious pup, but very good.

Drank with Masum at his place 16-10-2015. Weird beer. Strong Chipotle Chili taste, but I still like it, since the taste is more than that. It is also rich and complex.

750 ml. as "Chipotle Porter" alias. Pours ebony with a lasting sudsy foam. Aroma is earthy spice, char, iron and dry cocoa. Flavors of smoke, mocha espresso, charred chile pepper flesh, iron and a touch of sweet soy sauce. Medium body has low-medium carbonation and really highlights all aspects of the smoky pepper without an overwhelming heat.

750 mL bottle shared by ebone1988. The pour is a nice dark black with a thick dark khaki/light brown head that falls down to a thinner film with a solid lace that's left behind. The aroma is really smokey. Wasn't anticipating this one. There is a decent milky dark chocolate nose with a smokiness and a decent pepper on the back end. This one smells like it could be a bit disappointing. The roast and chocolate highlight it. The flavor is smoke and fruit. Not a dark or hidden fruit, but a bright tropical fruit. There is a bit of chili on the back end that tie it together, but the smokiness is a huge turn off. I'm not feeling the smoke. The mouth feel is excellent with a beautiful soft carbonation and a lingeringly spicy chili mixed with smoke finish. It could've been so much better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with koleminer20, labeled as "Chipotle Porter." Aroma is smoke, sweet roasted malt, pepper, milky dark chocolate. Appearance is black, light brown head, thick. Taste is strange, smoky, roasted malt, fresh pepper, yet sweet and fruity. Mouthfeel is thick, heavy body, great soft carbonation. Overall, Im not surprised why they dont classify this as a porter because of the pepper presence.

Deep brown colour; great beige head. Very roasty aroma, coffee and some sweetness. Dry taste, also very roasty, sour, lot of melanoidins. Gentle spicy notes on finish.

Draft. Deep dark mahogany. Creamy light brown head. Dry. Lighter medium bodied. Silky smooth. Peppers layered in perfectly, especially in aroma. Chocolate, cocoa round things out with touches of licorice and molasses. A light roast and just enough sweetness to go along with the moderate heat and light smokiness from the peppers. Top notch.

Mooie zwarte kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt vol, vanille, peper, kruiden, koffie. Smaakt vol, koffie, bitterzoet, vanille, klein pepertje op het eind. Zit ook iets raars bitter in.
