Thick black pour, chocolate brown pour. Aroma hits with some chili peppers, chocolate, espresso. Flavor is lightly spiced with some great chocolate notes and espresso roast coming out. Bitter chocolate finish. Awesome.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2011 Pours dark brown/black with a frothy dark tan head. The aroma is very strong of peppers and might be called a little overbearing. Does not taste like your normal porter. Spiciness is prominent and flavorful while still having those favorable characteristics of a classic porter. Full-bodied and smooth, not too thick, and less than average carbonation. Finishes with a lasting spicy tingle.

750 ml. bottle- Pours pitch black with a nice creamy mocha tan head and spiderweb lacing, beautiful beer. The aroma is very chocolatey with a spiciness in the background, peppery. The flavor is peppery up front, followed by chocolate, then smoky peppers (chipotles) and wood, very interesting. There is a definite jalapeno burn, especially in the back of the throat, this is one of the most interesting beers I have had in a long time, very experimental. The body is thick like chocolate milk, carbonation is low, finish is long, and spicy. Overall I haven’t had a beer that I was blown away like this in a long time, a winner for sure, or to quote Charlie Sheen "Winning". Loved it.

750 ml bottle into tulip. Pours midnight black with a large lacy dark tan head with awesome retention. Smells of campfire smoke, tobacco, leather, chipotle. Taste is bittersweet with a spicy finish. Spiciness lingers in the throat for a nice long time after the swallow. Carbonation is medium, mouthfeel is creamy, body is medium to full. AWESOME.

Pours a luscious sable just a whisker above black with a very thick and fluffy dark tan head that sticks around for a bit. Aroma has a strong overtone of semi-sweet chocolate as well as molasses and roast coffee notes and a hint of toffee. Flavor fills the mouth with chocolate, roast coffee and molasses tones plus nutty and toffee hints. The chilis add an interesting and unique zing to the full-bodied and fizzy flavor, making it unique among all beers that I have tried so far. A must for porter fans, if you don’t mind a bit of pepper heat.

Velvet black pour with caramel head. Smokey and caramel with bitter chocolate and spice on the palate. A rich and warming beer with the chilli factor slowly building at the back of the throat and in the stomach.

Body is completely dark, huge tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, vanilla, hops, roasted malt, caramel. A bit smokey. Medium to full body, flat to soft carbonation. Finish is long coffee bitter and spicy, followed by a pleasant tingling; this is where chilli first appears. Just wonderful!

Black in color with a tan, frothy, bubbly head. Lacing holds very well on the side of the glass. Strong coffee and chocolate aromas. No hops pop out in the smell. Definite spicy kick hits the back of your throat instantly. Very smooth black coffee flavor with a chocolatey texture. A full-bodied beer that leaves your taste buds working overtime. Overall i think spice and a malty beer go very well together. This is the type of beer i am always looking for. YUMMY!!!!!

Cafè, xocolata, fosca com la nit, escuma persistent que es menja i amb un lleuger final picant, molt agradable i llarg. Fantàstica.
