4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a 33cl bottle, pours deep black color with a thick drak beige head.
Aroma of coffee and dark chocolates, hops and spices. Flavors of coffee, dark chocolates, molases, candy, grass, hops and a kick of spicy chilis. Wow its the most spicy beer i’ve had. Maybe a bit to spicy for a beer. its keep on kicking with spices as you drink it. Heavy body, bitter and spicy. But very well made. I enjoyed this but one is enough. Very ineteresting.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours black with thin white head that clings to the edges. Coffee aroma over mild carbonation. It's mostly a coffee flavor with a hint of heat. Nice thick mouthfeel.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours in black body with really high brown creamy head, wonderful. Aroma has coffee notes, light smoky. Taste has high toffee sweetness, cold coffee after taste, smokiness all over the palate. The lacing is just amazing. I’m not sure if the roastiness comes from the chipotles or the malt, but is just really balanced. The after taste finishes with full toffee, caramel. I don’t get any chilli sensation from it, just a really good and balanced stout. Body is full, high carbonation.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Plovmand, thanks! Strange and yet enticing aroma of chocolate, coffee, tobacco and ash. Even some ashtray-like notes but surprisingly they fit in really well with the whole. In the flavour that tobacco&ash mix transforms into a subtle, smoky chipotle note that wanders the tongue all the way down into the throat, being flanked from both sides at the same time by an amazingly soft, malty mixture of coffee and chocolate, culminating in a spicy but not overbearing finish. Frankly, I rarely dig beers with chilli but this one had me stupefied. Amazing beer.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl bottle. Pours black with a huge foamy dark beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, bitter coffee, light alcohol, some smoked and vegetal note. Similar taste with smoke flavors more pronounced, almost smoked meat like, bold roastiness, ground coffee, bitter chocolate, light final chilly spiciness. Good bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel, medium body, light carbonation. Very good.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Botella. Marron oscuro opaco.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 12B, adapted). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: hop floral aromas that slowly fade with time, mixed with a roasted background. hints of spicy notes and a pepper-like aroma. APPEARANCE: almost black color and opaque. medium moussy and brown head with good retention. TASTE: average floral hop flavours with a background of roasty malt and a pepper flavour. low bitterness with a semi-dry and hot (from the pepper) finish that stays on the throat. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a very interesting and different porter-like brew, with an additional "hot" character.
