3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From the 16 oz. can. It had a best by date of 20/05/17. Yellow pour under a frothy white head. The big thing that jumps out at me in the aroma is a peach sensation. I like my Pilsener’s to have a toasty character not a fruity character. The body was medium to full. The taste also had that same sort of peach sweetness and a mild bitter finish. More toast - less fruit for me to give this a higher rating.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Gotta love finding a random top 50 in style beer. Woops. Draft pour pint at the Taphouse. Pours a clear copper color with almost no head. Rich, fruity hop aroma. Flavor is a bit metallic, fruity remainder. Empty metallic linger. Doesn’t have the expected hop bomb. Overall a good premium lager for sure, but as an overall beer, it was alright.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear golden to orange with lasting foam. Aroma is fruity (citrus, orange and some tropical) hops and malt. The taste also includes grass and caramalt. Very nice, and the apperance is awsome. Fine bitterness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
50cl can served in a teku. Pours light amber with an off white frothy head which lasts well. Aroma is floral hops with a nice clean crisp taste. A fruity, crisp and slightly bitter aftertaste paired with the low ABV make this a perfect drink for a hot summer day. If only it was a little cheaper.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The foam has just enough hops in itself that hides a notion what to expect.
Got some work to get up the foam.
In the glass, this beer a semi-hazy golden brown color.
The look alone completely detached myself from some lighter American assumptions.
We were firmly in Mikkeller territory.
This beer comes with a frothy white head that has pretty good retention
The fragrance is composed of a sweet malt base during an IPA similar hop sting that appears to be very earthy and spicy.
You’ll find hints of citrus, humlat but feels even a little metallic.
By now, I had to stop and scratch my head because it was unlike any store I had ever seen before
Of course I would expect nothing less from Mikkeller,
so I shrugged and went into the first flavor with zero expectations
Wow. One thing is quite clear on the first sip: this is the most aggressive stock you will ever taste
But here’s a brain "bender" that took me a while to overcome: the beer still tastes like a warehouse.
Yes, despite its IPA similar hop contention, retain this beer its earthy grassy character of a good stock.
It is quite confusing, but somehow it works.
The dominant presence of hops is a sharp and small pine notes. The finish is very long dry with a sour taste.
To be completely honest, drink American Dream much as a strong West Coast IPA with clearly defined bearing qualities

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Copenhagen 24/4 2016. 33 cl bottle from Barley Wine (slightly too old- Best before January 2016). Engraving of bearded fellow on the label who certainly looks like he could use a beer. This beer is a bit foaming upon opening. Pours slightly hazy orangish yellow with big white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is fruity with some distinct citric notes and a more subdued sweetness. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a distinct bitterness. Fruity and refreshing lager with character. So much character you could mistake it for an APA.
