Bottle at Hetk in Tallinn (various occasions, € 4,50). Pours a hazy bright orange with an off-white head that keeps nicely and leaves some lacing. Aroma... rather faint, grassy and dry at first, but then strikes as wonderfully fresh and succulent (for a lager that is). More precisely, there’s some tangerine or other sweet citruses. None of the off-putting wet cardboard malts. Taste... a good hop punch, sweet, and very well balanced. Finish is quite bitter, with pronounced grapefruits and pine resin. Medium body and medium plus carbonation, palate is grainy and piney. A very good nouveau-lager. I love it!

A découvrir.

Spina @ cantinetta. Chiara con bella schiuma. Personalmente non avrei mai detto che fosse una bassa fermentazione. In pratica una ipa. Corpo pesantuccio. Non si beve male ma di pils non ha nulla. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhold

Pours well with a moderate frothy head. First impression is hoppy but it gives way to more fruity tones. A thirstquencher!

Amazing aroma. A dry pilsner-ish aroma packed with hops! Citrus, apples, grapefruit, mangoes, pineapple, the works! Flavor is really good with a perfectly dry malty backbone packed with flavor. I get some sort of apple-ish flavor that i have not had in this kind of a beer before. It’s actually really good. Not the too-young-beer kind of apple flavor, but a nice one! American hops in high amounts here. Really good beer!

Bottle @ home. clear light amber color and a medium white head. Dry fruit aroma that has red apples, pear, pine, apricots and some lemon and grass and herbs, with a sweet light caramel plus toast background. Nice balance! Dry and crisp flavor with pine, mango, hay and toast and then some caramel. Towards the finish a drier and saison-like taste of white pepper, wet hay, orange and grape and is coming through along with an increasing bitterness. Assertive and long lasting grape-like bitterness. A really good thirst quencher.
