UPDATED: JUL 6, 2012 An Ipa for sure. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus and som caramel. Golden colour with a white head that lays down as a nice lace. Aftertaste is very hoppy, with a typical american hop-flavour. Quite oily texture for a 4,6%. One of my favorites.

Pours a golden orange color with a nice white head. A pretty nice nose to this. Sweet malt and bread notes with a touch of biscuit. Nice floral hops, a hint of citrus peel, and a light yeastiness. The flavor is really crisp and refreshing. Good hop character with plenty of floral notes and a light bitterness. The malt flavors are there but not heavy and the yeast is present in the background.

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2013 My beer of the year 2012. Bottle. Lager? Never even thought about it. I was surfin the weeb and enjoying the malt and the hops. Absolutely stunning! Cloudy amber. Nice white head with rings of heavy lace all down the glass. Soft floral hop aroma with a tinge of citrus. Flavour of citrus and delicious malt. Strong body and flavour for 4.6%. If this was affordable and in 6 packs or on tap at my local it might be my favourite daily beer. Big flavour and sessionable.

Hogfather (64) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - MAY 14, 2012
Bottle from BeerStore, Thessaloniki: Are you sure this is a lager? It looked like and tasted like an IPA, for me. If lagers were like this one, It would be the only type Id prefer! Ok, to the point: Golden colour with relatively small white head. Aroma of citrus and flowers. Light bitterness, with tastes of caramel, hops and a little of grass. Oily texture with medium body and an average to low carbonation. Bitter finish. Overall, was that a lager? I just loved it!

Bottle. Clear medium golden hued body with a lasting white head that leaves good lace. Aromas show a good deal of hops: medium pine, citrus, tamarind, tropical fruit. Medium bready, good malt presence. Light grassy quality. Flavors are bitter, a light bit of oxidation. Quite bitter, grassy, medium 2-row malt character. Tangerine, malty, light sulfur but otherwise clean. Lively bubbles, quite dry, some carbonic bite, low body. Possibly a touch faded.

RoyceH (1196) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - MAY 2, 2012
Bottle, mi orge, mi houblon. Lovely cheeky little lager packed with hoppiness, Big american hop character nose, hoppy and with a touch of cannabis, peachy soft mallow nose follows. Mouth is wonderfully grassy American hops with that oily fresh hop character. Quite a green taste that then develops into a wonderful mellow bitterness, then a nice bittersweet end. Extremely clean and quenching, perfect. Simply a fantastic fantastic lager.

Bottel Puros a murky dark gold color, strong grapefruit and mature cheese aromas. Flavor is strongly hopped, nice floral palate and all-around good beer.

Bottle from Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours golden with a thin beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a smooth caramel malt flavor with a dry bitter finish. Lots of taste for a relatively low ABV.
