Draught at Q-Brick. Pretty orange -amber color. Great hop nose, clean malts, citrus and grass. Light malt flavor, very hoppy, not all that well balanced, very bitter. Good lager that tastes more like a low-abv IPA. Enjoyable.

Bottle (12 oz). As "The Canadien Dream". Extra from Craig, thanks! Slightly hazy bright dark golden/amber with a medium off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of biscuit, grapefruits, grass, perfume and light sweetness notes. Taste is slightly sweet with cereals, grapefruits, biscuit malt, grassy notes and light bitterness. Palate is clean and crisp. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly dry. Hoppy for a Premium Lager, but it’s a good beer. Very refreshing!

Draft. Pours amber with white head. Aroma is very little malt and a lot of hops. Flavour is malty with notes of bread, with lots of hops with citrus, tropical fruit.

Bottle from Sherbrooke. Heard interesting things about this. 330mL, 4.6%. Pours a clear golden with a bubbly white head, intricate lacing. Aroma is sweet citrus (closer to blood orange or tangerine). Mouthfeel is crisp, medium-high carbonation. Taste is an eruption of hop flavour considering the abv, citrusy, fruity punch. Would be an excellent session beer and killer for patio season.

(33 cl bottle from Brødrene D; BBD: 09/01/2015) Pours a clear golden with nicely, big white head and plenty of carbonation. Good retention and beautiful lace. The aroma is pleasantly hoppy with what to me seems to be clear references to noble hops (grassy notes) and delectable biscuit hint. Oily texture, medium to light body and a slightly dry finish. Taste is well balanced with the hops perhaps somewhat more present than in traditional lagers but never to the point where they dominate. I think this beer has taught a hophead like me something about the beauty - and difficulty - of balancing the ingredients of beer so that the end result is subtle and extremely sessionable.

330ml bottle from LCBO (As Canadian Dream). Not a gusher but foamed up nicely in my L’amère à boire glass. Clear slightly amber gold with a huge fluffy straw-coloured head. Smells like a fresh EPA (grain, not much alcohol, some biscuit) with nice citrus/citrus zest added. Taste follows, nice and oily, not as much "Yank" character - pretty solid and balanced. Chewy, light body, good carbonation, medium-long bitter floral zesty dry finish, a little coating. Splendid stuff - truly sessionable. Ja ja ja - didn’t drink it out of the bottle - but next one I will.

Golden pour, small head. Digging the hoppy aroma - Grapefruit, Orange peel, floral. Bitter up front, Grapefruit, orange, lemon zest, peach, caramel, grassy. Medium bodied, easy drinking. Could easily put back a few in 1 sitting.

Very good beer, doesn’t quite remind me of almost any lager I’ve ever tasted. Solid Mikkeller quality.
