UPDATED: JAN 5, 2014 Draught. Lightly hazy orange pour with white head. Aroma has clear malty notes. Taste is dominated by bitterness from in the beginning but taste fades quite fast. Really likeable lager if you are looking for hops.

Look: Pours with off-white thumb high foam, random bubbles, fast retention. Stays coated, leaves lots of random lacing. Color is golden orange, slightly hazy. Lots of carbonation. Pretty.

Smell: Hits you with tropical (passion fruit, melon, mango), citrus, grapefruit/pine hops. Some sweetness from the malt to compliment the strong tropical vibe - fresh candy, do want.

Taste: Pine gets stronger, still topical fruit, cut grass; then goes to light sweet biscuit malt middle - this sweetness goes really well with the fruity flavours from hop. Ends with quite heavy for this style, but lovely piney/grapefruit bitterness with some sweetness. Very IPA-ish.

Mouthfeel: Crisp, refreshing carbonation, medium body. Leaves a dry finish.

Overall: Goes down easy but still feels like a proper hop packed beer. Very well executed and interesting take on lager, i hope to see more like this in the future.

large frothy offwhite head. good lacing. mostly dminishing. translucent average dark yellow body. aroma: fresh moderate hops, orange and honey. if: moderate sweet light bitter. ff: light sweet moderate bitter; long duration. palate: medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation, metallic finish. 50 s

Strawcoloured pour, with frothy white head. Aroma of delicious juicy citrus fruits. Quite hoppy. Taste is medium bitter, while the body is medium. Bitter finish, which lingers for a while. Would’ve wanted some more juicyness, but since this is a lager, I’ll deal with it. One of the best beers you can get at the regular store in Norway.

33 cL bottle from the LCBO, labelled as The Canadian Dream, served in a lager glass. Pours clear golden with a large, off-white head that mostly remains and leaves a slight amount of loose lace. On the nose, there are notes of citrus, pine, pale malts and subtle biscuit. The flavour is balanced, with moderately sweet caramel and biscuit malts on the one hand, and moderate bitter grapefruity, coniferous American hops on the other. It closes out with a long, resinous hoppy finish. On the palate it is light-medium in body with a dryish texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a very nice lager with beautiful hops and a nice light texture. Would make a nice session beer, especially on a patio on a warm summer evening. 2013-06-25

Riktigt, riktigt bra.
