Very hazy orange brown body with small stable off white lace. Light yeast, orange hops, young cheese and grass. Mild and accessible aroma. Taste not as accessible though, strong bitterness, light malts only so not full but rather dry and refreshing. Excellent mouth feel. Not drunken out of the bottle though. :-) (33cl bottle received for free from Bière Revolution, thanks!)

330ml bottle from Nina’s Mini Market. Amber brown colour, reasonable head. Sour corn hoppy malt aroma. Sharp yeasty citrus flavour. Lemon aftertaste. Bright and refreshing. Decent lager.

bottle bpufht at NøgneØ. A very clean lager with a lot of American hops. Nice pale color, white head and a lots of hoppy aroma. Love it!

Grima (2124) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 28, 2013
Pours strong golden and clear, with flat fine head. The nose has lots of flowery hops and some hay. Starts with many bitter hops, paired with lots of flowery hops and some grains. Middle part is very bitter hoppy, with some floral flavor and pale malts. Goes into a dry bitter hoppy finish! Maybe it was a bit too aged.

Nice and fresh tasting with pleasant hop notes. It’s easy to squash a lot of these bottles back to back. Nice job!

from Erzbierschof - hazy golden-amber beer under a solid creamy foam; nice lace; malt and caramel with notes of almonds and flowery hops; medium-bodied; a decent bitterness; pretty tasty and hoppy malty finish with notes of caramel, flowers and some ripe fruits; slightly salty

Marstonlad (474) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 19, 2013
Pours slightly hazy amber with a white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is extremely grassy, also some citrus fruits - really, really hoppy given the strenght. You can tell that this is a far cry from a standard pale lager. Taste is very bitter, crisp and dry. American hops dominate with their grassy flavour. Very refreshing. Palate is medium bodied, the carbonation average. This is more similar to pale ales or even IPAs than pale lagers or pilseners, a lager with lots of character.

A - Fairly clear golden-orange with a finger of frothy off-white head. Fades medium. S - Pilsner and sweet grainy malts, grapefruit, citrus, and pine hops, bready malts, and some lager yeast. T - Pilsner and sweet grainy and bready malts, grapefruit, citrus, and floral hops, some lightly resiny bitterness, lager yeast. M - Medium-minus bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a dry and bitter finish. D - Nice hoppy pilsner. Good overall balance.
