4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My favorite lager, hands down. Pours golden with a good white head. Crisp and clean with loads and loads of American Hops. Fruity, hoppy but still very drinkable. A very nice beer for those warm summer days (hopefully we get some of these this summer).

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It pours hazy (translucent) copper coloured, with orange highlights; the head is bone coloured and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: grapefruit, sweet grains, tangerine, and floral notes. The taste is medium bitter that finishes medium-heavy bitter; there are notes of: grapefruit juice, lemon-zest, fresh grains, and a slight toffee. The palate is medium bodied, has medium carbonation (tiny bubbles), slight stickiness, and a medium bitter finish. Overall, a decent lager.

bottle. Pours cloudy orange. Aroma....lager?!?! Exotic fruits and pine hops. Taste is crisp, full balanced. Very tasty, definitely more like an APA.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear orange color with some head. The aroma is excotic fruity like an APA. The hops also dominate the taste. Body is light to medium. A good and refreshing lager.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl bottle. Pours pale amber with thin white head. Loads of mango and grapefruit in the aroma, some pine needles, orange, and light caramel in there too. Lots of tropical fruit in the taste - mango and passionfruit - some slightly pithy grapefruit, light pine resin, crisp biscuit, light herb. Nicely crisp and clean in the finish - lingering citrus and tropical notes. A great lager/APA crossover - the lagerish crispness sets this apart in my eyes, incredibly refreshing and full of flavour.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a cloudy golden orange with good-sized, lasting off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is bread, citrus and other tropical fruit as well as a little spice. Taste is bready with citrusy hops and hints of other tropical fruit as well as some spiciness. Silky mouthfeel. Rather nice, although wouldn’t have pegged this as a premium lager.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I purchased at LCBO for $3.30 for 330ml bottle. The only difference with this beer is it said "The Canadian Dream" rather then the American Dream on it. I guess they put different countries on the label to where it is sold?? I didn’t know what style of beer it was until I opened the bottle, being a Mikkeller beer and only herd such good things about the brewery I knew it must be something good inside. A great hopped lager like an IPA!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours cloudy pale gold with frothy head lacing the glass well -good viscosity. Aroma has some spruce, a bit soapy. Taste has sweet mixed with a very light bitter. Ends with a bready, earthy malt note.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from LCBO, labelled "The Canadian Dream". Pours hazy amber with white head. Wonderful tropical fruit aroma. Taste is full of bright citrusy and tropical fruit, with a bitter finish. Pretty much a top-notch American IPA but with a lager yeast (apparently). Wonderful.
