Absolutely fabulous. American yeast and hops do their trick to produce a deep and balanced delight

Remember having a bottle of this earlier this year and really not thinking it was anything good at all. Upon returning to it this month i truly realize how ones palate can change quickly when trying out increasingly more complex beers, becouse to me this is still an complex lager. Aroma is very much like an low hopped american IPA with hints of it´s lager nature, sweet malts in the background. Taste is more lager like than the aroma, still loads more of the hops than your average lager. My go to lager as the local SB stocks them! Bottle from SB.

Dry. Very dry. The taste is dominated by grapefruit juice, and not much else. Very bitter finish. Wouldn’t buy again.

Drunk 11/11/14 with alistair in beergeek bar. went for a wee one after work, which quickly turned into a real sloppy session. met up with garth, lucie, matt and sarah as well. then a few americans. got turfed out at 2:30 and i was fukken cunted by then. ughhhhhhhh
anyway, had this first. pours hazy orange with a big rocky white head. smells of lemonpeel, peach, grapefruit, caramel. taste of citrus fruits and buscuity malts moving to a hoppy pine finish. as i drunk more i got a chewy caramel flavour which was tasty too. mmmmmm

Very rich in flavours, lovely almost fruity smell and extremely drinkable! One of our favourite lagers.

Keg at BD Shpherd’s Bush tap takeover. It pours a pale straw color with small white head. Aroma is fresh grassy hops, apricots and grapefruit, grains. Taste is again fresh grassy hops, grains, citrus, light toffee notes. Finishes quite dry and bitter. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, crisp and refreshing

I was pleasantly surprised to taste the hop forwardness of this beer backed with crisp lager mouthfeel. There's pine, winter fruits, & a very clean, sharp ending. This is probably the best lager I've ever had. Rated by BrewTom

33cl bottle. Pours hazy golden orang, white head, leaves some lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma (citrus, pineapple, some tropical note). Taste is malts with fruity notes similar to the nose, dry finish with bitter grassy hoppy notes. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very drinkable and enjoyable hoppy lager.

Besides the obvious hoppy aroma with the notes of lemon, tangerines and flowers it also has a perfume like smell. The perfume doesn’t translate to the taste luckily. The taste is a good example of how to do a good lager. Sweet, crisp and light lager malts topped with fruity, citrusy hops and a very dry almost metallic finish. A long lasting bitterness follows.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 27.10.14. Pale golden, slightly unclear and greyish. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, citrus marmelade, tropical fruits and malt. Similar taste, with sweet dried fruits and nuts. Well-balanced. Good drinkability, but also with a tone of something nonrefreshing.
