Bottled, from Systembolaget. Perfectly black with beige head. Aroma of coffee and tangerine. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Tropical fruits, chocolate and truffles comes out as it warms. Milk chocolate and salt in the finish. Generic de Proef brew with exotic spicing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
extremely black body with a thick brown head. Molasses, bananas, truffles and a slight hint of toffee. Tasteful but falls a bit flat. Awesome to sample nonetheless and could be so much more if it were any bigger

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Mikkeller & Friends. Black body, with a large brown head. Aroma of coffee, truffles, caramel and earthy hops. Taste of licorice, black malt, truffles, chocolate, light spicy. Robust bitterness, with an aftertaste of roast and truffles. Was very unsure how the truffles would work out, but had no reason to worry, this is just an amazing beer full of taste with the unusual yet perfectly fitting extra ingredient.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
375 ml bottle.
Appearance is top of class. Color, head ... perfect.
Nice subtle aroma with notes of raisins, coffee, dark fruits.
Softly carbonated with a medium thick body, with a lingering sour finish.
Taste is surprisingly sour, and lacking sweetness. Soy, prunes, raisins, and a little harsh and bitter. You recognize all the little nuances and expect the sum to be ... something completely different.
Contradictary and somewhat disharmonic. Not a favorite, but very interesting.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
15-OCT-2013, bottle @home, brought by Sonni.
Black with nice brown head.
Funny fruity soy aroma. Malts and citrus!
Taste is malt, soy, citrus, mushrooms! Truffles? More like oysters...!
Tart, citiric, oily, soft carbonation.
Not all that fond of this. Strange. Thx Sonni.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
4th June 2013
Opaque dark brown beer, decent pale tan head. Unusual nose, hard to place - truffles? Smooth palate, viscous and a little dry. Creamy dark malt with a touch of roast. Lactose and a strange but not unpleasant tang. Slight coffee before the semi dry finish. Interesting!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
from Mikkeller&Friends - black beer under a long lasting dark beige foam; nice lacework; some roasted malts, notes of brushwood, mushrooms and dark chocolate; velvety palate, slightly thick, a good malt backbone and a late sourness which persists in the finish; salty and slightly meaty with notes of mushrooms sauce - pretty weird
