Pours dark red with light beige head. Aroma of fruitcake, aromatic hops, caramel and wood. Very fruitcaky flavour with some piny hops. You can feel Cognac in the flavour but not so much in the aroma. And this tastes really good.

Bottle 0,75l, golden to amber color with white head, that is falling quite fast. Aroma of flowers and lemons. full flavours with medium to high bitternes. Taste and aroma rather typical for an IPA, but definitly not a barley wine. Aroma and taste of Grand Marnier isn’t noticable at all. Very low price-quality ratio.

Bottle cellar properly and didn’t know how much of a big deal this was. Can’t believe I even score this from a buddy off untappd. So anyway... Dark amber orange color with still some carbonation. Aroma is orange zest, old grass, burnt toffee and slight grapefruit.

The bitter grapefruit upfront with orange cognac flavor followed by raisin tones. The finish is balanced between bitter and sweet. Exceptionally balanced. Fuller body with a low level of carbonation. The booze only shows up a slight warming sensation after the sip. Great to share with some close buddy’s. Happy to share!

Bottled. Pours amber with a little, lacing off-white head. Aroma of berries, wood, caramel, citrus and grand marnier. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry, with alcohol and bitter notes. Medium to full bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Barley.
