Nice peachy aroma. Peaches in syrup, that is. Fuck it - this has just shat in my mouth. 1 sip was way too much, the second was just punishing myself. Nasty booze. Shit.

Bottle, 75cl. It’s an almost clear one, golden in color and topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Quite hoppy aroma with pine cones and citrus peel. Alcohol, malty sweetness and some sugary hints in the aroma. Peaches too. It’s rather warming on the palate, full-bodied and quite pleasantly carbonated. Resiny, piney and peachy, with malty sweetness and alcohol in the flavor. A bit too syrupy sweet, too alcoholic, else it’s a pleasant beer. 130216

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, fruits, malt, pine, grapefruits, peach, apricot and has a full body. More like an IIPA than a barley wine.

On tap at Bishops Folkis, February 2013. Hazy dark orange/amber with a small white head. Aroma of hops, some alcohol, grass and some dried fruit. The taste was heavy and sweet with notes of alcohol, malt, hops and dried fruit. Nicely balanced with a long aftertaste. Not bad.

Bottled. Pours hazy amber with a medium sized off-white head, leaving a good lacing. Aroma of citrus, caramel, peach and a hint of pine. Sweet flavor that ends up solid bitter with some booze notes too. Medium to full bodied, syrupy texture and soft to average CO2. A nice hoppy barley. ★★★★
