UPDATED: DEC 29, 2014 Bottle, 75cl. Pours hazy tea with orange with small-bubbled, homogeneous, long-lasting foam. Aroma of fresh, american hops, predomintantly floral, Scotch pine needles and citrus, but after a while an alcoholic and irritant note becomes evident. Taste is built of medium bitterness and some light and syrupy sweetness, from sip to sip some taste of rice can be even found but cannot admit that it adds much to the table. It generally improved while drinking with bitter notes being more and more balanced with malty tones. It is generally smooth on the palate, bit oily, leaves a yeasty dryness on the tongue. An alcohol is not hidden and gives a warming feeling down the throat. Medium bodied. I must admit that my expectations from such a big names were way higher. Too much of AIPA hoppy feel for this style (yeah, I know it is not an AIPA), in my humble opinion. It is a good beer and I enjoyed it but it doesnít really bring anything new on the table and if one considers the price/quality ratio, there are better options to go on the market.

75cl bottle. Pours a nice, unclear, orange amber with a dense, white to of white head. Aroma is very fruity with peach, pear, pineapple and tropical fruity hops. I actually catch some rice as well. slightly floral. Lots of pale malty sweetness. Taste has a big sweet fruityness up front, but turns more and more bitter hoppy. Slight acidic citrus and peach. As it heats up, the sweetness gets more sugary or syrupy. Nice value beer actually!

This is a good beer in general, but not really brilliant for Mikkeller. I know that he can do better

750ml bottle, shared with Grippitis. Very hazy deep golden amber body with a light gold, creamy head. Sticky toffee malts with a generous dose of grassy/citrus hop character. Full bodied and sweet, but the hops balance nicely. Delicious!

Bottled 750ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Dark orange/golden coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, intensive fruity hoppy nose. Sweet malty, fruity hoppy, notes of herbs and alcohol. Light notes of tropical fruits in rather bitter hoppy finish. Pleasant one but nothing more than that.

Pours golden-copper with a thick creamy white head that lasts forever. Very nice look! Nice piney and floral aromas, with a distracting ether note as it warms up. Medium to full body, bitter up front, with strong, almost harsh, piney resinous bitterness, some red fruits, finishing on a dark crystal malt and something reminding me of raspberry. Interesting brew...

At the "expensive beer tasting" with heavy, hrabren and ogivlado. Poured a dark amber body with a small white head that went away slowly. SSweet aroma, dull maltiness, some alcohol, but some fruity tropical hop too. Sweetish, mild tropical fruit note in the taste, going into a dull herbal bitterness, good fruity notes, some reminiscent of gummibears. Some alcohol, slightly too much for a second. Though itís close to going the sweet & sticky way, itís saved by a fresh citric note, edged with lemon gummie bears. The bitterness here is only medium. Oof... I was expecting something Iíd love, got something that went from a disappointment back to "kinda like it". Itís a very good beer, and I might be ever so slightly underrating it, but I donít feel comfortable giving it more than this.
