Poured from a 750 mL bottle. Pours cloudy apricot brown. Off-white head with nice lacing. Aroma is rich in hops with notes of citrus with grapefruit coming through. Flavour is surprisingly sweet given the nose. Sweet malts and rice syrup combine with prickly hops to give an interesting take on the original Boogoop Barley Wine.

Not most intense barleywine, tho quite huge maltiness, caramel, lots of fruitiness, ripe fruits, overripe fruits, grapefruit, mango, bit pine, toffee. Quite sticky. From start seems it bit lacks in intensity of aroma and taste, tho after some time it rounds up in well balanced and highly enjoyable brew.

Bottle. Orange in colour, slightly hazy. Aroma is packed with hops - pine and citrus all backed with malt and some caramel and just a hint of alcohol in the back. In taste the beer is malty sweet, hoppy flavours mix together and on the finish we have some alcohol. Alcohol is not massive but could be better hidden. Strong bitterness, tohugh the beer is massive on the palate it’s quite dry. Soft carbonation and oily texture completes the really great "barley-rice" wine. Very nice stuff!

Bottle shared at craft beer co clerko. Many thanks to The Osprey. Reddy amber coloured pour with a frothy off white head. Aroma is sweet, toffee, clean american yeast, little pine hop. Flavour is composed of apple caramel. Decent barley wine. Apple little woody vanilla. Palate is sticky sweet. Moderate carbonation. Little tangy wood and apple.
