Tap @ Mikkeller bar. Pours hazy dark Golden with a White head. Nose is sweet and vinous. Caramel and tropical fruit. Sticky and oily. Warmth with a fine depth and vinousness. Tasty!

Orange fruits - apricot, citrus rind and mango. Uber sweet with vanilla and honey as well. Seems a bit flat, but otherwise solid BW.

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a deep golden orange with a thick off white head. Sticky lacing around the glass. Nose is a pine Forrest with grainy cereal malts. Fuck this smells fresh even after a year of aging! Taste is predominantly pine and grapefruit with the grainy malts coming through. Thick mouthfeel, pine is coating my palate. Booze isn't overly evident must be due to the aging. This is winner for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Trübes orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, dunkle überreife Früchte, holzig. Geschmack malzig süß, leicht alkoholisch, trockene überreife Früchte, holzig.

Bottle: Poured a dark blonde color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and some light lacing. Aroma of grainy cereal notes with quite bit of sweetness. Taste is also dominated by grainy cereal notes with some dry notes with quite a bit of residual sugar. Body is about average with medium carbonation and light warming alcohol. Interesting experience but just too sweet for me at the end of the day.

One of the best barleywine style that I have ever tasted. Girlfriend, father in law and mother-in-law says that we can repeat this experience. Delicious.

Riiisgoop ! Kanske inte lika slående som US version men fortförande riktigt bra.hel del blommighet och fruktighet i aromen. Tydlig och kraftig beska i smaken, kanske inte lika rund och balanserad som den andra risgoopen..

Risgoop pours a dark, bright orange with a thin, tight bright head. The nose is fruity and quite malty with a warm booze note, pine and grains. Sweet grainy middle with a ton of fruity hop notes. The finish is bitter with nice amounts of grapefruit and pine. Warm and boozy on the finish with a good malt to hop balance overall.

Botella de 750ml. Copa Borgoña. Precioso color anaranjado y apariencia nublada. Bourgogne Wine glass. Cute & orangish color & cloudy appearance. Yellowish off-white creamy foam forms a thick, sticky & lasting crown as well as draws lacing rings on sides. Superb aroma profile: hints of orange, toffee, crystal malt, ripe plum, ripe apricot, herbal hues –caraway- & subtle resinous back. Fruity, malty & creamy upfront. Citric bitterness –orange & tangerine juice notes- follows. Full body. Soft carbonation. Viscous texture & dried palate. Slight resinous & grapefruit flavors in the middle. Sweet/slight bitter finish. Ripe fruit & resins on the aftertaste. ABV is shown as a kind, delicious sugary & warm sensation. A BIG ONE!!

Bottle, 40th Birthday gift from Nick - cheers mate. Vivid dark orange pour with a smallish tan head . Aroma was tropical fruits, sweet malts, booze and piney hop. Robust , full, sweetish flavour that carried similar qualities to the nose with some hefty hop bitterness. Not sure you could class it as a Barley Wine, but its a very tasty beer which punches its weight nonetheless.
