Lovely golden colour with white, not too big head. Decently bitter for a pale ale and great fruity smell and taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The fancy fruit is a minor component of this moderately hoppy pale ale made with citrusy, floral hops. The "Open windows Open hills" moniker led me to believe it was a spontaneously fermented wild ale, but it isnít. Itís just a good pale ale with a hint of tropical fruit.

330mL Aust import. Pours golden orange with a nice persistent off white head. Aromas of passionfruit, gooseberry with malty whiffs in the background. Stylish plate with dried fruit characters and malty notes. Nice bead. Finishes a touch short but Iím nit picking here. This is a pretty darn nice beer with that typical Mikkeller assertiveness and cut that we have all come to love. Like slipping into an Armani suit when others are wearing the cheap Chinese imports. Another please Alfred...

Pours a cluody slight dark orange look with a frothy white head. Fruity nose with notes of orange zest, mandarin, sweet peaches. and spicy notes too. Hopy and frutal flavour with a hint of green mango and with lightly sour taste, light sweetness and lightly bitter. Medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, and a finish with hops and spices on the palate. Good.

On tap at Archive. Long resinous hop finish with lots of floral and citrus hops in the flavour. Hazy orange sunset colour with white foam that clings to the edge of the glass. Full rich mouthfeel.

Pours dark amber with a fading head. Nose shows heavy tropical fruit, but seemingly more from hops than actual fruit, with an accompanying grapefruit and pine character. The fruit isnít evident as a flavour, focussing more on pine, grapefruit and some grainy malt. Carbonation is too high.

Pours golden. Clear. Average amount of white foam. Floral, hop and grapefruit nose. Quite sweet taste actually. Average thick mouth feel. Some bitterness. Hop, fruit and some water aroma. Very good APA. Maybe a tad to sweet. Note: I later learned that this one contained mango. Explains the sweetness and fruit aromas. I liked it!

The fruit is just an after thought, and I wish it wouldnít have been. Medium to high bitterness, carmally tasting ipa with light refreshment from the fruit. I swear my bottle said 8% not 5.

330ml bottle, reviewed from notes. Pours a beautiful, slightly hazy light orange with a good, bubbly, slowly receding creamy colored head. Very pretty. The aroma is smooth and rich in tropical, hoppy fruit. The flavor starts off with with a sharp, citrusy bite, accompanied by more fruityness, rolling off into a doughy, bready, slightly sour aftertaste that fades quickly. Very nice. Medium carbonation, light on the palate. A refreshing, almost sour-ish quirky little bastard of a pale ale. I like it.

Well its mikkeller and they have ruined ipaís for me b/c that hopps mix is just too good. I was expecting much more of a fruit blast after reading mango and passionsfrugt og gśr, which i canít pronounce, but it was a mikkeller with some fruity hints. Thatís all. I mean itís still really good, but not what I was expecting.
