Bottle shared thanks to Tim and Rachel at Proof happy hour! Sparse notes, but hazy yellow pour with bubbly white head. Aroma is bready grain, fruitiness of the hops is still there but you can tell it’s fallen off. Taste follows, no real hint of the booze, which was labeled as 8% on the bottle. Nothing great, but pretty nice.

Pours deep amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is beautiful hops with some pineapple and mango nuances. Taste is citrusy and tropical in a balanced way then transforming into a mellow lightly sweetened malty bitterness. At the very end you get that pineapple-mango flavor again. For such an easy APA, the palate is kinda dramatic. Impressive!

330ml bottle from the Drink Shop in Tallinn, hazy amber colour with a small white head, plenty of passion fruit on the nose. More passion fruit with mango, hay and citrusy hops on the tongue and light sour with some bitterness taste, though fairly balanced. Lively carbonation, medium body, bitter aftertaste with some sourness. Quite a peculiar one, surprisingly I actually liked it which is very rare with fruit beers.

@ Omena hotel, Köpenhamn 14/9. Flaska från Ølbutikken, Köpenhamn. Medelfyllig, ganska mycket humle med en aning syrlig smak. God, men lite tunn.

Cloudy golden pour. Fruity aroma, peach and mango. The body is light, fairly carbonated and spritzy at first. Peach and mango flavors come through. Incredibly dry, bitter finish.

Lonick (1143) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 13, 2013
Bottle @home, pours amber with a stiff but small white head which stayed with the beer all the way to end. Nose was almost not there but with slight fruity undertone. The taste on the other hand is a superb kaleidoscope of competing flavours with a mango/strawberry combination winning. A very nice beer to start the evening with.

Great beer. The fruit is subtle but definitely sets this beer apart. The fruit has imparted a very mild tart taste but is not really sour.
