@ Omena hotel, Köpenhamn 14/9. Flaska från Ølbutikken, Köpenhamn. Medelfyllig, ganska mycket humle med en aning syrlig smak. God, men lite tunn.

Cloudy golden pour. Fruity aroma, peach and mango. The body is light, fairly carbonated and spritzy at first. Peach and mango flavors come through. Incredibly dry, bitter finish.

Bottle @home, pours amber with a stiff but small white head which stayed with the beer all the way to end. Nose was almost not there but with slight fruity undertone. The taste on the other hand is a superb kaleidoscope of competing flavours with a mango/strawberry combination winning. A very nice beer to start the evening with.

Great beer. The fruit is subtle but definitely sets this beer apart. The fruit has imparted a very mild tart taste but is not really sour.

Slightly hazy orange-red colour with a thin off-white head. Fruity aroma - orange peel, mango, hops, malt. Light sweet with tangy - medium sour finish. Oily texture with light carbonation. Nice beer, really drinkable.

Bottle from Great Grog. Big muddy dirty orange with lasting medium open structure. Sour and mildly musty aroma with some orange / yellow fruits coming through and a touch of malt. Lovely palate, zingy and dry on the end. Good carbonation. Taste is light tobacco, sour lemon, orange, little bubblegum. Pretty good but almost average by Mikkeller’s best...

330 ml bottle bought at Craftissmo in Tsim Sha Tsui East.

Cloudy hazy dull amber red colour with blackish dirt-like yeast sediments; Two finger head and crumpet off white foam which last for 2 minutes; Very sticky lacing with notable carbonation; Nice fragrant fruity aroma of sweet malt, mango orange, passion fruit, plums / dark fruits, jack fruit, molasses, canned fruits, yeast, light citrus and grass; Light sweet taste of malt, followed by strong sour fruits, grapefruit, peaches, strong lime and herbal grass; Light body, slightly slick and very sour palate; Taste profile is initial low sweet malt, quickly followed by very sour, nice tasting tropical fruits, fused with hidden grapefruit, peaches / yellow fruits, and closed with glowing lime and herbs; Hoppiness moderately low for lime and herbal grass in nose and taste to dress up the heavily sour taste, and bitter finish is like a sunset, low but quite tasty for a sipping finish; Slightly dry after taste, very sour but tasty to mouth.

Comments: The focus of this beer is definitely on the aroma - very mangoish and tropical fruits to fool you might be having sweet IPA, and surprise! The strong sour fruit taste is really intense at first, but it works quite well with the full malt and low key fruity herbal hops. Overall an unique and nice experience with further sips. Definitely worth a try.

Light hop aroma, slight citrus tanginess, somewhat bitter. Pale brown, no cloudiness. Very clean, pleasant pale ale. It’s good, but I wouldn’t pay much of a premium over sierra nevada for it.

Bottle from Appalachian vintner. Pours brown with a thin brown head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Has a bit of citrus on the nose. Pretty smooth on the tongue. Finishes with a touch of bitterness on the end. Hides the booze well though it would have been more awesome had I drunk it earlier.
