3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at The Bishop Arms Folkungagatan, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma of tart citric fruits, some barnyard funk, and lemon -- very citrusy nose. Flavour brings out dry lemon, low funky qualities, sour citrus fruits, and yeast. Quite tart and citrusy, with little of the traditional Belgian gueuze qualities. Decent, but leaves much to be desired.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
375 ml bottle. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. The brew smells like oak, green apple, lemon zest, hay, and some citrusy/floral hops. It tastes like oak, funk, green apple, hay, bready malt, white grapes, peaches and some pear. This tastes better the longer I drink this. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it has a good amount of carbonation and it’s easy to drink. I liked this brew a lot, although it’s pricey at $14.99 a bottle. Definitely worth a try!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden orange from the bottle with fluffy off-white head that leaves decent lace. Aroma of citrus hops and Belgian yeast. Taste is what you expect, a geuze with a nice hop presence, bitter and sour fighting in your mouth. Interesting, pretty nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Proof. Slightly hazy deep golden pour with a small soapy white head. Aroma of Brett funk, lemon pith, oaked Chardonnay, hay and sour dough with earth and tangerine. Softer carbonation than I imagined, tart and sour citrus, Brett funk, Chardonnay with the kitchen sink of hops through the finish. Medium bodied with a touch of booze. Quite nice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at home via a Danish friend. It pours hazy golden-amber with a medium white head. The nose is fresh grapefruit, orange peel, tart green apple, earthy barnyard, dirt and light lactic notes. The taste is tangy, earth, barnyard, Granny Smith apple, tart pear, white grape skin, citrus, sherbet moderate acidity and light floral notes with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Plenty going on, but I’m not sure the balance is quite there. Interesting and rather tasty nevertheless.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
26.09.2013, 0,375l bottle shared with Palme @ Beer Temple:
Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is very fresh and hoppy, lots of hop pellets, citrus, citrus peel, grass, sorrel, sour apple skin, raw rhubarb. Taste is very fresh, lots of hops, citrus peel, citrus, cardboard, bark, grass, sorrel, green apple skin, raw rhubarb. Dry mouthfeel. Nice, but I wouldn’t say this one has anything to do with a gauze. Rather a very hoppy citrusy saison maybe.
