Ingredients : Water, malt (pale and cara), light candy, hops (Tomahawk, Cascade and Amarillo), yeast and brettanomyces.

"tastes like different hops and yeast than the other "alive" brew I’ve had. Still lots of brett and funky goodness...meshes really well with the hops used in this one, but I miss the yeast. Nice frothy refreshing brew (especially at 8%) anyway."

Bottle. Pours mahogny in color with a white foamy head. Sweet garden fruityness, berries, bit of herbal notes and honey in aroma. Later malty and spicy notes appears. Tropical fruity notes and hints of funkyness in taste. Also grapefruits and green herbs in aftertaste.

Draft at Eulogy. Cloudy brown amber with a huge frothy off-white head. Bright spicy hops backed by a lot of well browned amber fruit. Desiccated oranges and lemons. Golden raisins. Peach pits. Macadamia nuts. Sulfured apricot ears. Rotted caramel apples. Black tea. Cactus fruit. Unusual.

On tap at Mikkeller BKK, August 2014. Amber with a small head. On the sweet side with malt, caramel, fruit, some berries and light yeast. Some warming alcohol in the finish.

Little cloudy red amber beer, big irregular unstable, head, dissipating quickly, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, barley wine character, strawberry, bit spicy, alcohol, pretty strong and intense. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter hops, alcohol, bit sourish, fruity notes, grassy, bit of chocolate malts. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, grassy, fruity notes, some strawberries, bit oxidized, some honey, bitter ending.

Barwa: bursztynowa, klarowna, choć na dnie widoczny był wyraźny osad. Piana w kolorze ecru, dość obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, ale ładnie oblepiająca szkło. [5/5] Aromat: słodowy (karmel), na początku trochę kwaśny (w stylu lambica), niestety z czasem ta dzikość zanika. Do tego akcenty cytrusowe amerykańskich chmieli i niewielka nuta alkoholowa. Smak: słodowy, pełny, nieco słodki, ale z kwaskową kontrą. Wyraźna nuta alkoholowa oraz wyczuwalna goryczka (w okolicach średniej) niestety trochę "zielona", łodygowa, nie do końca przyjemna. Mikkeller oferuje nam teraz belgijskie ale z dodatkiem dzikich drożdży i chmieli amerykańskich. Połączenie całkiem fajne i dość udane. Niestety muszę przyznać, że butelka spędziła w mojej szafie blisko 9 miesięcy, co aromatom chmielowym nie wyszło zapewne na zdrowie. Podejrzewam, że otwarte wcześniej smakowałoby (a zwłaszcza pachniało) jeszcze lepiej. Nie zawsze mam jednak z kim zdegustować większą butelkę...

75cl bottle at Tim’s place. Thx for sharing today’s beers! APPEARANCE: clear dark blond beer, small unstable off white head. NOSE: very sweet, barley wine nose actually. Aged hops. TASTE: caramel, sweet, barley wine like beer, not like orval at all. Nice beer.

Appearance: Clear amber with 2 finger thick beige head. Aroma: Coriander, citrus, woody, leather, funk, woody, flowery, resinous, pine, candy. Taste: Low/medium bitterness and sourness with medium bitterness. Palate: Medium grainy thick texture, average carbonation, lingering dry, coriander bitterness with citrus and candy notes. With Brett funk and hints of alcohol notes. Comments: Very good and glass lace

Bottle at WWBA. pours amber with fluffy head. aroma is malty, with citrus, and pine. tastes sweet and bitter. you get grapefruit, pine needles, alcohol, flowery, and finish warm and sweet.
