Pour copper orange pillowy off white head absurd lacing. Aroma hops, sweet malt, American IIPA aroma, caramel, touch sour. Taste big American hops, grapefruit, citrus fruit, spicy yeast, touch of dark fruit. MF medium body nice carb. Overall an amazing blend of Belgian with an American IIPA awesome stuff.

Hazy darkish amber beer. Dry palate with a soft, almost creamy edge. Frothy in the mouth. Rich peppery hops deliver bitterness but not overly aggressive. Slightly aniseedy finish.

10/11/11/10/7/11

Keg at BrewDog Edinburgh. Pours hazy copper with orangey highlights. Aroma is banana and marmalade with some light candy hops. Taste is malty and sweet. Almost sickly but not quite. Finish is spine-tingling bitter. Really interesting beer, but I personally prefer Beer Hop Breakfast from this session.

On tap at Schouskjelleren. Lovely hazy amber, low carbonation. Fine malty body with a bitterness that goes right down the spine. Spruce, resin, long bitter finish.

On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Orange to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Lovely aroma of American hops and brettanomyces / farmhouse. Nice flavour of fruity and resinous American hops, medium sweet with notes of caramelized orange marmalade, hints of brettanomyces in the background. Fairly bitter finish.

I’m pretty sure Mikeller is Danish for genius. Nose has hints of grapefruit but delicate. It pours the color of iced tea with a thin white head and some lacing. Again you get big hop flavor without the bitterness. This shouldn’t be possible. This beers wears it’s 8% very well. What a pleasure it is to drink this beer.

Bottle (75 cl) from the Cracked Kettle. Shady copper, medium beige head. Bready and slightly caramelly malt aroma, with strongly perfumy and citric hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Medium dry, medium bitterness.

Bottle. Pours murky apricot brown. Off white head. Nose of burnt wood, dried fruit, apricot skin, dates and yeast. Taste of tangerine rind, burnt wood, yeast, dried fruit and apricot pits. Earthy grass feel to it. Burnt ashy finish.
