On tap at Mikkeller. Sour and citrusy aroma. Not too sour taste. But still sour. Citrusy and bitter too. Really nice.

Bottle (330 ml) at home. Clear orangey-golden, borderline copper, with a medium off-white head, moderate retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is of citrusy hops, piney notes, leathery brettanomyces, Belgian yest and caramel notes. Taste is piney and citrusy with moderate leathery brettanomyces presence, caramel, yeasty presence and medium bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. A bit oily mouthfeel. Bitter finish that is borderline harsh. A generic Mikkeller Brett + hops beer. Not bad, but nothing to see here. Bitterness takes too much place for my liking. Ok.

Pours amber with 2 finger head. Aroma is very brett forward. Fresh lemon grass, green apples and a twang of funk. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Brett is the first thing on the palate, tartness, followed by fresh hops and a subtle bitterness. This is a really nice wild ale, the hops compliment it quite well. Would never think it was 8%

Draft at Mikkeller - Aromas of wheat grass wafting in the wind. Very drinkable sour. More of a hop character than I’d expect from a Brett.

Klasa.

Appearance: clear pale amber with one fat finger of ivory head, excellent retention and chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: grapefruit, stone fruit, caramel malt, dried dark fruit, light brett funk. (8/10) Taste: moderate-low sweet, moderate-high bitter, mild funk. (8/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry finish. (4/5) A very pleasing BSPA, with lots of wild character. I like it, and it’s certainly worth trying - and I don’t mean to damn with faint praise here, but: it’s not quite as interesting as I was hoping/expecting it would be. A little more tartness or a little more sweetness might bring this a little more alive… so to speak. (16/20)

On tap at hopaholic pub. Amber colour with a smal white head. Nose of citrussy ipa. Taste is also a hint of sourness with medium bitterness. Very well balanced, but feels like an ipa for me.

0.2 draft. Hazy, dark copper color and a small, off-white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, somewhat sour, notes of fermented fruits appear as well. Taste is sweet, very floral, fruity - unusually good. A medium body, a slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is medium long and sourer than the rest. Overall a very good beer. The initial taste is insanely pleasant.
