Aug 28, 2009 Clear brown/orange with a small baige head. Aroma is mainly hoppy with notes of grape along with suger and some brett. Taste is bitter more than anything else. Lacks sweetness for my taste which makes it abit harsh in the finish.

Aug 24, 2009 Bottle. Red colour with medium off white head. Aroma dry, funky american hopps. Taste dry, malty, hopps. This beer is close to an Orval.

Aug 21, 2009 nose of huge citrus sour fruits, pure west coast IPA. appeararance is very cloudy amber. flavor is of strong resiny hops and a touch of funk in the background that comes stronger late. after a few more tastes i find that both ride side by side but the hops tend to clobber the brett, as they do with most of their sparring partners. brett and hops to this level has not been done before that i know of....however i am eager to try the other version at this point with more sudued, classic hops then this bitter-bomb as i predict the barnyard with be much more substantial.

Aug 12, 2009 Sampled a bottle brought by Argo0. Thanks Aaron. Pours a copper orange with a cloudy white head. Grassy aroma with grapefruit, slightly sweet too. An aroma of pine came out once the beer warmed a bit. Flavor has sweet malts, caramel, slight citrus, fruit. The hops are subtle in the flavor but hard on the nose and finish.

Aug 12, 2009 Pours a clearish amver with an off-white head. Dry with strong hoppy aroamas of American hops. Citrusy and hints of plant sap. I can’t spot much funkyness (good). Highish carbonation. Medium to full bodied. Dry finish.

Aug 10, 2009 Bottle at the legend of chriso’s pre GBBF09 tasting. Alround rating: American hops in the nose, good light body but unfortunatly massivly carbonated which makes it fairly hard to drink. I went back and had a second sample of this after about half an hour and it was still over carbonated. Too much yeast!!
