Draft at Red’s. Poured a murky light brown color. The head was a few fingers high and light tan. Smelled of citrus rind, dark fruit, and caramel. No significant funk in the nose. Medium bodied and slightly sweet with fairly assertive bitterness that lingered. The flavors were similar to the nose with added pine and a fruit juice note reminiscent of tart orange juice.

10 june 2011, tap. pink/red, faint haze, no bubbles. nice nose. pinkgrapefruit sweetness q/ hint of bitter grassy hops. med bosdy and mildly fizzy. Great! Pink grapefruit pulp juice and a bit of bitter citrus pith.

Bottle at Local Option in Chicago. Dark amberish color, big head that just sits there forever. Sweet aroma, hints of candy, sugar and yeast. Flavor was like a typical dark Belgian, slight sugar/candy taste. Nothing over the top but a good beer non the less.

The tomahawk, cascade and amarillo hops did a great job. Palate perfect. Absolutely pleased to have tasted this one.

My favorite hops are in this beer. Has a nice hoppy taste and smell. Comes in a nice big 75cl bottle to share with friends.

smooth and a bit slick with mild carbonation that is soft. Fresh aroma and flavor of malt just from the Farm and a nice American style hop of Grapefruit and Pine that is just under the surface and pronounced until the finish. Good full body and light alcohol with mild sweetness delivered fresh at the Rattle and Hum NYC.

One definately tastes the product of the yeast’s work in this beer. A rich malty taste, and phenolics on the tongue as one would expect with this style. Well worth a pint.

At the farmers cabinet with eli. Toasty but funky vinegar aroma. Taste is cherry, vinegar... Characteristics of a sour ale but lightens in the mouth before it gets too aggressively sweet or tart. Interesting and fun to drink.
