750ml brown bottle, corked. Cloudy orange/amber coloured with a solid, tall creamy head. Some soapy lacing. Aroma has some orange-like sweetness up front, some hemp notes, brett. Malt has some nutty qualities, earthy, woody, grapefruit and floral hop flavours. Medium bitter finish, lasting grapefruit hops aftertaste. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Great mix of bitterness and brett, which to me equals a dangerously drinkable, and no sign of the 8% alcohol.

Aroma of Brett with hints of citrus. Pours a hazy copper with a thin tan head and minimal lacing. The taste is acidic, citrus, and Brett. Quick dry finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Overall, this is not a Belgian Strong Ale! It is what the description says, a wild ale.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2013 Thx! to Man-ki who no longer could remember where he go this one from. 750 ml. bottle sampled. Pours copper amber with a thick, solid, mid. sized white head. Nose is a blast of grapefruit hops (this already has some age on it), crunchy brett, orange peel, light funk, tangerine, light eathly hops,… Taste is bitter grapefruit, tangy brett, spices, tangerine & grapefruit peel, surprisingly bitter, bitter herbs & more bitter spices,… Body is lightly fizzy, fuller brett body,… Comparable to fresh Orval but some less body & complexity,… Still, very, very lovely.

Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. This red amber beer pours with a very large foamy head. It has a spicy red fruity and orange marmalade flavour, zesty citrus and toffee notes with a creamy mouthfeel and more citrus on the finish. Superb!

Great pour, beautiful creamy head, brilliant head retention. Really good fusion of the IPA and Belgian Strong Ale. Hops and bitterness at first then big toffee and some Belgian yeast flavours.

Frisk fruktig och humlignaroma. Besk eftersmak som dröjer sig kvar ett tag, drar lite i kindbenen.

Bottle @ Bill’s house, picked up at Argonaut Denver (I believe). Pours a murky brown appearance with a huge, foamy, light brown head. Somewhat funky, very herbal, grassy, toasted malty, lightly fruity aroma. Light caramel, earthy, dull citrusy, a bit tangy, somewhat spicy flavor that dries out a bit on the finish. Not all that hard to drink but disconnected and lacking direction.
