On tap at Henrik, Bergen. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Funky yeasty aroma, belgian that is. Taste reminds me of a good saison, with brett and farmyard up front, spicy, resiny and fruity hops as well comes thru towards the end. Good beer.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 TheJester (1230) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2011
750 mL bottle. (bb 030215). Cloudy brown with a really solid off-white head. The aroma is floral, wild, with a touch of booze. Some malt in there too, but the hops dominate. The taste is a nice balance of hops and the yeast, with neither overpowering the other. The brett adds an interesting touch. Different, in a good way.
