Unbelievable, another hand labeled Mikkeller bottle shared at the LCBS 10. Like the Framboos this poured a grapefruit color. Sour and vinegar aromas. Ouch, this is a brutally sour beer. Like Veritas 06 sour. The flavors were tart fruit and bitter uber sourness.

Hazy red/purple color. Aroma is black currant, yeast and vinegar. Taste is sour with a big S. Heavy black currant taste but also some cherries. Don´t know what this beer is about and I didn´t enjoy it very much.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a cloudy reddish with a bubbly yet dissipating head. Very tart nose with distinct dark berries and lacto. Medium body, heavy carbonation, very tart berry accents, acetone, glue and detergents. Very salty and minerally and somewhat Bretty. Very sour finish. I certainly still prefer the Zenne wild yeast to this! 180910

cloudy red small white head. Nice sourish aroma, blackurrant, vineagra. Flavor is vineagra, very acid sourness, hard to swallow, will perhaps age well?. Anyway tastes very good and you want more

I guess this is it, courtesy of Papsoe who got it for me at the Mikkeller bar, and enormous thanks for that!
Poured a murky red body with light traces of a pinkish head. Typical wild yeasty notes in the taste, sweet fruity notes hidden in there. The taste is wild again, but more salty and leaving a strong burn. The fruit is showing through to balance some of it out but doesn’t fully succeed in the end. An interesting experience that’s as expected not on the Belgian level.

Bottle @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph.
Pours muddy deep red with no head. Aroma has red berries, light sweetness, barnyard, Ribena and the soft outsides of black currants. High carbonation, tart, light and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is tart, berries, dry. Very sharp and acetone-dominated. Light oaky. Very fruity and fresh but just a tad too sharp and burning in my throat.

Bottle at Mikkeller. Pours a beautiful bloodred colour with a reddish head. The aroma is dominated by lots of black currants and dry grape. Unfortunately there’s also quite some children’s vitamins and acetone to it. The flavour is dry, with black currants, grape and a lot of vitamins. The finish is very acidic with hints of black currants.
