maneliquor (3103) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 9, 2011
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Cloudy straw pour with a medium, fluffy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is big on the citrus and cloves. A touch of banana runs through it as well. Loads of spices in the taste on this one. Quite heavy on lemon zest and coriander with banana, cloves and pepper coming in and out of play. Super easy drinking and flavoursome which is the way I like it. Nicely done

Bottle from Latvia. Pours a blonde colour with a thick white head. Aroma of lemon, orange rind, coriander and wheat. Similar coriander, lemon and orange flavours. Alcohol is well masked with a little leather and a dry finish. Not a bad witbier.

75 cl. bottle split @ Delirium Hoppy Loft (shared with sebletitje) – split into two oversized Mikkelller snifters – A: slightly hazy yellow with a fluffy white head – S: bitter hops, Belgian yeast and above all lots of coriander, lemongrass, cloves, assortment of spices, lots of spices & hazy but sharp bitterness – T: lots of spices, especially, particularly heavy coriander, plenty of hay, lemongrass, bitter floral & herbal hops, field of hay, coriander going almost into chemical territory, Belgian yeast, wheat, touch of green apple – B: medium body with somewhat above medium carbonation – Not bad or at least definitely interesting overdrive/imperial something wit – P.S: that is quite a lot of coriander you have got going on there – my 20th Mikkeller – so that is like 1 % of their beers :)

sebletitje (6680) - Enghien, BELGIUM - NOV 19, 2011
75cl bottle shared with 77ships @ Delirium Hoppy Loft.
