Draft at Mikkeller Bar in Seoul. Medium sticky head and brown colour. A subtle toasty aroma of malts interests me with that of hops. Well-balanced tender and hoppy palate comes in. Some sweet taste of chestnut runs with mild that of hops. Suitable carbonation, finishes savory flavour.

330 ml bottle
Hazy light brown to amber colored beer with big blonde to beige head. Aroma and favor have nuts, toasted malts, wood. tobacco, licorice and resin. Palate is quite full with quite heavy carbonation and some bitterness Finish has quite mild bitterness but it lingers pretty long. Aftertaste is nutty, berryish sour and caramelly sweet. Complex taste for a brown ale but not really my thing. Good palate. Not the brown ale I expected from Mikkeller, with so little bitterness.

Bottle. Amber, average to large and mostly lasting light brown head. Moderate to full, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel and light roasted malt, faint bread and some citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some caramel and light roasted malt, some citrus/piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and dryish - lightly sweetish, light caramel and roasted malt, faint bread, piney - some citrus hoppyness. OK bitterness for brown ale - not too sweet. Still this is (only a) brown ale. Nice head though.

Draught at Mikkeller & Friends. Murky light brown, nice lasting off white head. Lovely nutty, milk chocolate brown ale notes in the aroma, flavour had a nuttiness up front with a rising bitterness toward the finish. Nice
