3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark amber with a bubbly round light tan head and some broken lace. The aroma is light yeast with some malty notes. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a light somewhat watery fruit nut malt hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not what I would call a classic brown ale but very drinkable all the same.

Det här var kanske inte den godaste ölen jag druckit inte heller är det en speciellt bra brownale. Smaken var lite lätt syrlig med vaga toner av malt, kroppen var rätt liten och balansen fanns inte alls på sin plats.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
on tap at mikkeller in copenhagen. sure enough, brown with a lingering beige head; plenty of pine and butterscotch in the aroma; medium bitterness tending to citric, nicely balanced by some nutty, woody malt character

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served from tap. Dark purple to black hazy beer with a medium light brown head that lasts for a while. Odour of different fruits, but mostly sweet and hops. Taste is sweet, also fruity perhaps mostly pineapple. Aftertaste has a good balance between sweet and bitter, but in general the beer is a bit boring.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Mikkeller San Francisco, pours a dark amber with a large beige head. Aroma of toasted nuts, some coffee, and subtle chocolate. Flavour is unusually fruity, with loads of dried dark fruits, toasted nuts, and coffee. Unusually complex, with a robust, complex flavour profile. Delicious brown ale.

Tap at Mikkeller Bar, SF. Another solid brown ale by these guys. More citrus and nutmeg on the nose. Bit of brown sugar and herbal tones too. Taste is a brown sugar hop bomb. Pretty solid stuff.

Light cola brown, small head. Smells.. Nutty, brown sugar and some roasted notes. Tastes.. An easy nutty flavour to take, some darker flavoursome choc, roasty again, some hop flavour hints too. Good brown.
