COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: A pitch black lightly carbonated Imperial Porter with flavours of chocolate, liquorice and fruit, the finish is roasted and sweet.

Bottled at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Black, no head. Rich coffee aroma. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel, Some chocolate and syrup, plenty of coffee. A fairly well balanced stout retaining drinkability amidst sweetness.

Big bottle from Ølbutikken, Shared early on a Sunday with KnutAlbert and Skinnyviking. Devil-black body. Thin, but steady, tan coloured head. Aroma of cocoa and coffee malts. Flavoured with earthy and grainy chocolate malts, tolerable sweet. Smack of roasted coffee, too. Bone dry and rounded palate. Tasty and well bodied porter (hotel room, Copenhagen 09.05.2010).

On tap @ CBF 2010. The aroma has roast, chocolate, coffee. Black coloured beer with no head. The taste is like sweet chocolate. Has an oily texture and a good strong aftertaste. Very nice for a beer of this style relative low on alcohol.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2014 Re-rate .. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of sweet brown sugar, chocolate, caramel, toffee and vanilla. Taste add some roasted notes, smoke, liquorce, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. Suits it well to be stored for a while.

Clear dark black color with virtually none head. Aroma is heavy malty, dark chocolate, moderate dark roasted, burnt, espresso, light vanilla. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, coffee, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20100505]
