Tap @ Mikkeller Bar, Cph.
Pours completely black with only a thin film head. Light sweet aroma, liqourice, chocolate, vinious, very mildly roasted. Low carbonation, dry and grainy yet somewhat creamy texture. Flavour is lovelcy chocolate-based, softly roasted, light dry finish. Some well-placed notes of coriander, blackberries and yeast. Really very nice and drinkable.

Rating #316, sample at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010

Appearance is black, medium head with ok duration. This seemed like a decent porter with a lot of caramel, chocolate and coffee. Not a roasted one, and therefore it seemed a little tame after drinking the Mikkeller Black Hole. Soft, but a little thin. I have to retry this again by its own.

On tap at Copenhagen beer festival. Failry light and easy drinking. Coffee, fairly dry. Not the most impressive among the new range, will probably come to its own when drunk on its own!

Tab @ CBF. Opaque black pour with no head. Totally looks like coffee. Aroma is very roasted, burnt caramel, malt sweetness, blueberries, a bit fruity. Taste is roasted, little coffee, much malt sweetness, a bit of smoke actually, hops and coffee in the finish. Almost flat in carbonation, medium body, medium duration.
