37.5 cL bottle. Pours cloudy deep amber with a huge white head. Aroma is wooden, wineous and dry spiced hoppy. Deep malty and winous flavoured. Dark breadish and oxidised flavoured. Mild fruity note. Dry wooden barrel flavoured. Nice one. Yet somewhat tired. Aged will do well imho.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, caramel, wood, alcohol, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, alcohol, toffee, nuts, vanilla, roasted malt, fruits, and yeast, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottled. Deeo orangeish brown colour, off-white head. Aroma is wood, oak (it’s wood right?), some mils spices, very sweet malts and also quite stFlarong alcohol. Flavour is liquorice, alcohol, very sweet malts. If you have a bottle, save it for 3-5 years, and this will be a very beatiful beer. If I find more of this bottled available I will buy and save.

Bottled at Sorbon, Stockholm. Hazy copper colour, small head. Perfumy vinous nose. Mid sweet, slimmer than anticipated, well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and crystal malt as a backdrop to peppery red wine. Mildly warming finish with tanninic bitterness.

Cloudy bland color. Aroma of rotten fruits; sweet; I’ve been looking for long for other aromas as our friends . Strong mouthfeel, with some malt flavor, vegetables, too much alcohol presence, quite evident nutty presence, and in the final some sweaty hops.
Well, I like so many Mikkeller beers... Not this one.
