Bottle. Hazy bronze with a medium sized diminishing good laicing off white head. Aroma is over ripe fruit, wheat, dark fruits, caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light/medium sweet. Medium body, oily texture, soft/medium carbonation. Lasting fruit in the finish.

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a very slightly (mostly transparent) deep orange with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes semi-sweet and malty with notes of caramel and a touch of clove. Solid on the palate. A good example of the style.

Pint on tap at Ei8ht Ball, split with my sister. Mildly hazy, kind of burnt orange color. Thin off-white head. Plenty of dots of lace. Bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Nice banana, lightly spicy light hint of citrus, light ester, some belgian yeast, very light candy sugar, some burnt caramel malts. Good kind of brown banana in the finish. Moderate sweet taste, very nice. Alcohol is well-hidden. Impressive, tasty, smooth weizenbock... Especially if it has age on it, which it probably does.

Draft at Ei8ht ball - I live the style and this was a let down. Thin body for style and lacks the banana and spice notes I expect. A tad peppery. Meh.

Look: relatively clear, some yeast floating around. Dark orange, amber. Almost no head, some foam islands. Medium carbonation, light lacing. Looks good, inviting.

Smell: Banana, caramel malt/wheat, fruity, passion fruit, some citrus (tangerine, orange). Also some alcohol spice.

Taste: Nice fruity (tangerines), yeasty start then goes into overly sweet, caramel wheat middle to rough alcohol feel. Sweetness sticks long in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: medium, solid carbonation, medium body; missing some creaminess. Warming due to the alcohol.

Overall: Fine beer, but far from the best representatives of weizenbock. Short on taste and mouthfeel. Alcohol and sweet character way to dominating.

Taste of yeast, fruit (plums?) and some caramel with a wheaty feel. Solid beer.

Bottle. Pours a light, orange coloured beer with a medium sized, white head on top that stays on long and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is vineous, madeira and grapes. Some very faint banana notes in there. Flavor is medium sweet and medium bitter, like white wine with some oak or wood in there. Big on the sour fruity sides with grapes and again some faint banana touches. Medium long, light bitter aftertaste. Decent brew, but I’m guessing it’s pretty old.
