Marstonlad (768) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 30, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2014 Bottle from Ölhus Stockholm, Helsinki. A color of reddish brown with a little head. Aroma is original but a bit peculiar for a weizenbock: it has notes of sherry, berries, currant and vanilla. Taste is strong and sweet, with no wheaty notes in it. Sherry, ripe fruitiness and berries dominate the taste. Medium to full bodied, sticky palate. A very weird weizenbock alltogether, the age of the bottle might have affected the taste.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

Bottle. Bronze with a small head. Slight wheatiness but less noticeable than I had expected. Medium body with low carbonation. Classy example of this style but not very exciting.
