Pours deep amber with a fading head. Nose shows doughy yeast, wheat, golden syrup and cloves. The doughy yeast note is very prominent. Similar flavour, more full-on doughy characters. Quite sweet, sugary almost. Noticeable alcohol in the finish. Carbonation seems a little excessive, perfectly syrupy body though. Not exactly a complex beer. The doughy character is annoyingly distracting.

Hazy copper colour. Some banana notes but not too much, bready, yeasty, a bit sweet.

Clear amber colour, medium white head, short lasting. Aroma of honey, wheat, fruity, alcohol, hops. Taste medium to heavy sweet, almost medium bitter, light sour. Alcohol notes all the way, quite annoying. Hops appears in taste, citrus fruits, earthy. Low drinkability, rather odd taste combination. Finish light to medium bitter and sweet.

TET (2066) - FINLAND - JUL 14, 2012
A coppery coolur, a big and blond head. Aroma of sweet malts, lots of wheat, bananas, some dark malts and spicys. Taste isn’t so sweet than aroma, wheat, some dark malts, lots of spicys, bananas and carnation. Medium bodied, smooth and lots of carbonation. Same kind of nuancees that are in Aventinus can be found, but still complexicity and harmony are far away from Aventinus; anyway, nice, strong weizenbock.

una bella weizen bock di colore quasi ambrato che si fa bere molto facilmente pur avendo un gusto deciso.

Bottle. Aroma is relatively faint, some bready caramel malt notes. Very faint banana. (Served too cold) Flavour is a very full bready malt goddness, with a spicy and herbal banana note, some bitter liquorice in the finish, followed by faint sourish fruit. Alomst spicy. Something else. Nice.

Aroma is very close to a Belgian blonde with fruits, banana and some Belgian yeast. Very foamy palate and a bit too high on CO2. Flavour is fruity and dry with apricot some gooseberry bush Gets dry and yeasty towards the end of the bottle. A belgian blonde in disguise.

33 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 20.10.2013.
Pours hazy copper color with small head. Aroma of yeast, fruits, mild spices, lemon and some herbs. Flavor of fruits, spices, yeast and some mandarin. Very strong carbonation, sourish fruit notes on the palate. Definitely more like an belgian white than an weizen bock.

Bottle from Kris Wines. Darkish orange amber with a strangely unweizenlike small head. Quite clean for a wheat beer - nice wheat and yeasty flavours, some fruit but less of the apple/plum/clove one might expect. Then a nice hint of hop bitterness in the finish. Drinks well. An unusual beer, more like a strong wheat ale than anything Bavarian. Nice and tasty.
