3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Svesse (5197) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 19, 2013
(Bottle) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with rocky white head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, fruity nose with bready malt, honey, tropical fruit, canned peaches and fresh floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, bread, honey, grass and fresh floral hops in a finish with a fairly short and quite balanced bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Feels more like a perfumy premium lager than a kellerbier, but it’s quite enjoyable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 allanbowers (92) - melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 28, 2013
pours a golden colour with a fairly big head.
This is a fairly lively brew with hoppy flavours.
Light body though.
Nothing that Mikkeller touches disappoints.

Bottle, Brew Dog, Newcastle. Slightly hazy golden pour with a middling white head. Grassy hop, sweet malt and citrus notes in the nose and flavour. Plenty of malt in the flavour in tandem with some robust hop bitterness. Tidy balance .Smooth , crisp and very drinkable. An excellent take on the style.

0.33 l bottle at hotel room in Copenhagen, thanks Rauno! Golden color. Herbal and citrusy aroma. Herbal, oaky, bitter, honeyish and slightly citrusy flavor. OK, would be better with less oak.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Theydon_Bois (2957) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2012
Poured from a 330ml bottle into a German 0.3l handled glass (drank Feb ’12).
Pours a crystal clear blonde/light amber in colour with a big big frothy white head.
A lot of aroma to this beer! I got mushy peas, wasabi/mustard, hops and malt roughly in that order. Most unusual smells!
Flavour wise, grassy hops, a little citrus and some nutty/wood tones to it. A crisp bitter-dry aftertaste.
Medium in body and moderate to low in carbonation.
On OK take on a Zwickel but perhaps trying a bit too hard to be ’whacky’ and different when there isn’t a need to! The smell was something way out! Nothing like (nor as good) as the many kellerbiers I’ve drank in Deutschland!
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (17458) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 27, 2012
Bottled at PBF. Cloudy pale golden, small head. Slight floral nose. Dryish with fairly light body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Mildly hop aromatic, but with shallow malt character. Mid bitter finish. Very far from Franconian kellerbiers and far more superficial.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2012
Bottled 330ml (PBF)
Slightly hazy yellow color, big creamy off-white head, lace. Grainy, pale malty aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Malty, a bit grainy, grassy hoppyness. Cracker flavors. Perhaps closer to a Belgian pils than a German beer.
