Lets us introduce Win Bic. Win Bic is a new friend in the X-mas family from Mikkeller.
Its a blended Spontan Ale and Saison, It is 6,0% abv, It is awesome and it comes in a magnum bottle. Welcome Win Bic.
The Tasting panel Said:
Cloudy light orange with a fine foamy thick white head
Aroma – A mild spicy impression with acidic green apples, cloves and a sweetness as from dried apricots. We also find some bitterness as from lemon peel and a lactic touch. You clearly sense the saison notes as white pepper and mild various spices.
The taste blasts out the saison expressions in the beginning and we think of oxidated apples as you find in certain ciders – after that you get the lactic and sour impression that appears very refreshing and drinkable. A freshness topped with dry impressions of the barrels. You feel like another sip.
The mouth feel is not as carbonated and fizzy as in most of Mikkellers spontan beers. The finish is very dry with a touchy bitterness that again reminds of citric peel. For some this citric bitterness could get too much.

Lambic mixed with saison!? I’m intrigued. Little foam. Amber cloudy color. Citrus aroma with a hint of earthy tones. Sour taste as in geuze. Still missing something. Still an interesting mix of styles worth to try out.

Bottle 0,375l from The Beer Cartel, Sydney. Pours a cloudy orange copper colour, medium head and leaves a one finger lacing. Aroma of tart, orange zest and sour apples. Same for taste with malts and slight bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from boxbeers.dk. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Fairly fresh and mild with grapes, brett, grass and some bread. The finish was dry and quite tart. A pleasant one.

Spændende wild ale. Ubeskrivelig smag - men behagelig og frisk, med tilpas surhed. Kedeligt udseende

The aroma is full if acidic green apples, apricots, lemon and pepper. The color is light orange. The taste is full of acidic green apples, reminiscent of apple cider. The finish is dry and bitter. Not my kind of beer, but still drinkable. It’s Mikkeller after all.

Maakun’s. Maakun brings out the cannon. Golden pour with little white head. Fruity hops, concentrated grain syrup, yeast, champagne, cider, apfelkorn, floweriness. Light sweet, light sour and moderate bitter. Good sessionable stuff and a joy to drink.
