Lambic mixed with saison!? I’m intrigued. Little foam. Amber cloudy color. Citrus aroma with a hint of earthy tones. Sour taste as in geuze. Still missing something. Still an interesting mix of styles worth to try out.

Bottle @ home via Craftshack a few months back. Pours a hazy yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Actually quite funky, bretty, barnyard funky, pineapple aroma. Tangy, dank citrus hoppy, funky, pineapple flavor. Lots of spicy hoppy and funky, tart goodness. Chill brew.

Pours a golden yellow with a short lasting white dense head. Aroma of barnyard funk. Was expecting great sourness but was pleasantly surprised by sweetness! Medium carbonation Not a full on sour but extremely refreshing, especially when drank cold in the summer heat!

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some barnyard funk, grape must, and rustic notes. Flavour is like a watered down gueuze with slight sweetness, not as good as Spontanale. Quite rustic and yeasty - not so tart, but quite wild tasting. Nice stuff.

Cloudy gold under a bubbly white head. Tart nose with lemon lime rind and a big tart Bretty hay funkiness that was super delightful. Wonderful flavor of lemongrass and saison hay with a dry Bretty funk. Tart, citric, complex and wonderful.

750 ml bottle from Tipples. Pours hazy golden orange with a big fizzy and subsequently fluffy lingering white head. Beautiful sour aroma with lots of dry oak, vinegar, sour fruits, apricots, orange peel. Very nice. Flavor is intensely sour to start but after more sips I get more bretty barnyard tartness with the lacto sitting nicely behind it, some light fruits, apricots, oak, white wine, wheat malts, dry green apple finish. More sweetness than expected but very nice. Light to medium mouthfeel with medium prickly carbonation. Nice beer that I would have again without reservation.

Bottle from Bottledog a Kings X. It pours hazy pale orange with a thick white head. The nose is doughy, earth, barnyard, funk, brett, fresh citrus, lemon sherbet, muffin, nectarine and orange sponge cake. The taste is smooth, doughy, barnyard, earthy brett, spice, must, sherbet, grapefruit, pomello, touch of bitterness, hay and dried florals with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Rather nice balance. Pretty quaffable and mellow.
