A delicious boozy aroma. Thick like oil. This is definitely a sipping beer but it’s a good one. Verges on being too sweet but as long as you don’t go to fast it’s quite good stuff.

Pours black and largely still. Little carbonation, and the mouthfeel is rich but also a titch flat. It is extremely easy drinking, by the same account. The aroma is rich, warming, and full of raisin and dates. Dried fruit all over the place. The flavor gives away the alcohol, but not the 15% abv that is listed on the board. I wouldn’t have thought of rum, and I was drinking with a Mikkeller employee who also thought it was more brandy than rum. Still, mighty good. (on tap at Warpigs, Copenhagen)
