Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks ArizviSG. Black with a nice tan head. A little vinous, some cocoa beans in the nose, dry, ash, a little wood, then wine and cocoa in the mouth. Didn’t sense the tequila at all. Smooth, full-bodied, a little ash finish. Very good.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks DSG for sharing it. Dark brown with a huge mocha head. Aroma of roasted malts, wood and dried fruits. Sweet and roasty with moderate bitterness, coffee, vanilla, some spices and alcoholic warmth. Smooth and creamy. Pretty good.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Black color with a creamy brown head. Roasty aroma with wood, coffee, some fruitiness, dark chocolate and some spices. Roasty bittersweet flavor, spicy, woody, a bit alcoholic, with dark chocolate, a bit of coffee and a bitter burnt ashy finish. Full-bodied.

375mL bottle, pours black with a medium light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of tequila, burnt roasted malt and alcohol. Flavour brings out a lot of tequila, surprisingly in a tasteful amount, with a little residual roast, and slight alcohol. Very tequila dominated, but I can somehow drink this no problem. Not bad at all, but only drinkable in small amounts.

Bottle shared at the Scopey 5K tasting. Thanks to Ken for this treat. Pours rich, oily black with a thick, tan froth head. The nose is all wet wood and tangy, dark berries. Medium sweet flavor with lots of tar, dark chocolate, dirt and dried berries. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate warmth to finish with bitter burnt wood and baking cocoa. Pretty decent.
