Draft - Liquorice roasted malts, coffee and chocolate bitterness. I even get a bit of dark fruit, maybe even some cherry. Jet black with a brown thin head. Sweet bitterness throughout. Liquorice and dark chocolate dominate with a bit of alcohol in the finish. Nice but definitely a short glass is all that is required.

Draught at the Konttori, Tampere, Finland. Black colour with small tan head. Gingerbread, xmassy spices, roasted malt, some balacing hops and liquorice in aroma. Very roasted malt, ashy bitterness, bitterish hops and mild liquorice dryness in flavour. Very dry and roasty flavour. Some sweetness could balance this a bit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the brickstore. An incredible dark Christmas drink perfect for the time of year. Little bit of vanilla lots of roasty malt and bittersweet chocolate. Smooth and well hidden alcohol. Pours black with a decent tan head.

Draft at CK. Rich black pour with a thick tan head. Nose and flavor bring stunning roasted malt, touches of char, bitter dark chocolate, and hints of plum and fig. Actually reminds me of a slightly less complex and less big Expedition; really smooth and drinkable on the palate. I dig this.

Taste of huge dark chocolate, roasted malt, caramel, smoke, coffee, molasses, citrus, pine, and spiciness. Good amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of big dark chocolate, caramel, smoke, and coffee on the finish for a bit. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very creamy and lush mouth-feel. Alcohol is pretty much invisible, hardly any warming after the finish. Overall this is an interesting and tasty Baltic porter with huge robust flavor and easy drinking.

Very dark brown to black beer, big aery beige to brown head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very strong alcoholic, mocha, caramel, chocolate, sugary, syrup. MF: quite some carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit sour start, mocha, coffee, hint of red wine, pretty bitter, red berries. Aftertaste: warming alcohol, bitter hops, coffee, lots of roasted flavours, charcoal, dry ending.
