Black body with a dark tan head. Aroma is quite hoppy with a light nutty quality. The flavor is a hoppy porter. Bright and piney. Medium full body. Easy drinking.

Huge black pour thick oatmeal brown head great lacing. First hint a bit of fugel hops I think then some good roast notes some toffees. Well coated palate finishes dry. Taste is very dry coffee and cocoa powder a bit chalky. Good but not great.

Dark brown with a Nice brown head tjat dissapears quickly. Smells Dark, had a Hard time deciding what. Strong taste with licorice and other notes. Long and bitter ending.

Tap. Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, spices and a bit of dark fruits. Tastes are roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Mouthfeel is medium+. Sweet and tasty. Will buy it on bottle if I find it.

Dark black pour with a brown head that doesn’t stick around. Smells of dark chocolate, hops, dried fruit. Tastes intense with hops, spices, cinnamon, some coffee, figs. Bitter with hops. Good stuff but a little pricey.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is anise, roasted malt, hop, coffee. Flavour is anise, roasted malt, hop, coffee, spices. Full body. Nice beer.

Poured dark black with a tight tan head. Aroma of roast malt and some spiced chocolate. Medium to full body, flavour a the aroma, add some coffee and dark fruit (a bit christmas cake around here). Quite a bitter, roasted finish.

Tap @ mikkeller bar. Black pour, thin tan head. Aroma is spicy, roasty, a bit ashy, some tobacco and a bit creamy. Flavor is roasty bitter, slightly sweet, spicy and a bit ashy. Well done, but a bit thin.
