Bottle 750ml.

Clear dark brown black colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee, dusty malt, spicy, anis. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, burnt, dry, roasted. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121109]

Draft. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. Thearoma has notes of alcohol, dextrose, roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, coffee, dextrose, tar, and roasted malt, as well as a light note of smoke, leading to a dry roasted finish.

From tap atMikkellerBar. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, toffee malty and caramelish. Light spiced. Bitter, spiced, light herbal and toffee to breadish malty. Dry and herbal finish.

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a creamy and lacing light brown head. Subtle roast and intense chocolate notes in the nose. Medium body, roasted malts and again plenty of chocolate, vanilla and some dried fruit, a little pruney. Malt bitter finish. 281012

Bottled, from Systembolaget. .Completely black, beige head. Tarry spruce aroma. Sweetish with full body and clean mouthfeel. Massive piney shampoo-like bitterness overkills everything in its way, leaving my tastebuds as sooty ruins. Some spice and caramel, but really - the super aggressive shampoo bitterness is just extreme.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Pitch black coloured with a small beige head. Sweet and light roasted aroma of honey cake and caramel. Sweet and light roasted flavour of christmas spices and hops. Spicy and hoppy finish.

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a tan head. Has a roasted malty spicy chocolate aroma. Roasted malty spicy chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate spicy finish.

Tap @ C4, Odense. Pours black with a creamy thick head. Roast, Chocolate and dried fruit. Smooth, soft and full bodied. Brilliant!!!

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge creamy head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich chocolate, coffee, roast malt, vegetables and hops. Nice and dry but slightly watery.

Draught at Ølbaren - ØJ-Dag. Pitch black - light brown head. Nice burned. Fruity. Licorice. Ok bitterness. Charcoal. High malty. Nice bitterness. LIght herbal notes. Coffee notes. Best version.
