12.7 oz bottle. Dark brown with clingy tan frosting; lace spots remain. Nose is coffee, bourbon, molasses, cocoa and allspice. Medium body but feeling a bit thinned by the barrel. Carb adds a mild sting. Taste is earthy chocolate and coffee with the bourbon adding bitter and sour notes. Dull spicing, maybe some nutmeg, build on the bitterness, getting vinous. Interesting brew but quite muted.
