Dedollewaitor (12291) - Odense, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2011
Bottle @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours black with a small creamy white head. Heavy bourbon, hard roast and chocolate. Smooth and oily. A bit too simple, young and the bourbon is not perfectly integrated. Still a decent effort for Mikkeller standards.

Black color, with generous, compact brown head. Aroma of cardboard, roasted malt, dark chocolate, cake and cookies; some alcohol. The roasted malt character is very strong, while the body strength is medium, and the mouthfeel quite dry and ashy; a lot of dark chocolate too; it gets a boozy character from the barrel; the sweetness is almost absent; the final is just about burnt malt and some alcohol. Unbalanced on the ratio roasted-to-sweet.
