Brown color, big head. Thin body. Slight chocolate taste. Lots of herb. I wasn’t crazy about this one. Just kind of strange.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours pitch black with a great, brown head. Decent lacing. Aroma is sweet, slightly tart, roasted and with a hint of coffee. But most importantly it’s smooth! Very nice. Flavour is sweet, bordering on molasses, roasted and with a slightly watery overtone. Tart, bitter finish with an alcohol burn. Overall very well made; smooth and very drinkable. 17.02.12.

From a bottle at home in Skövde. Black beer with a nice big beige head. Smokey, coffee, tar and some dark chocolate aroma. The falvour feels like you stick your tounge into an ashtray....:-(

7c cl bottle at tasting. Black pour with a nice latte brown head. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy with the main component of citrus, then some coffee, lots of dark chocolate, cocoa, hints of cinnamon, raisins and other dark fruits. Taste is full of dark chocolate, I’m thinking 70+ %, bitter cocoa bean, roasty bitterness, some spices like cinnamon, clove. Really nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Närmast kolsvart och med ett högt småbubbligt brunt skum. Stor söt doft av kaffe. Medelstor kropp, i sötast laget, rund beska och robust rostning. Kommer bli bättre av att lagras ett par år så att sötman rundas av.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My rating #1800, bottle 75cl, a dark beer with huge brown head. Nose is very roasted and sweet chocolate like with grassy hops notes. Aroma is sweet chocolate, dark chocolate with fruit hints and ashes. Long toasted and caramel aftertaste with a relative hops bitterness. Consistency is creamy, nice dark chocolate dominant, pleasant porter with a Belgian yeast like aftertaste.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours very dark with a dense thick tan head. The aroma has smooth roast, cocoa, light char. Medium body with moderate carbonation. The flavor starts with lots of what’s on the aroma along with some dark berries and spices. The finish has some dark cream and is quite dry. Nice imperial porter.

Bottle: Thanks to VsXsV: Labeled as "Fra Mikkeller & ... Til" (BB: 2015, brewyear: 4 years back).
Medium to bigger lively but pretty vast brown head, which disappears slow, on top of a black beer.
Smell hops, liquorice root, roasted malts, liquorice, roasted wood.
There are a lot of earthy tones in this beer. Also there’s a good bitterness, some hints of hop flowers, spices, bit ashy, roasted ingredients (malts, barleys, hay, wood), light coal and some dry roasted coffee hints. There even seems to be a hint of something light metallic, just a slight hint in the far distance.
Roasted herby darker ingredients bitter aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, (medium to) full body and a creamy texture.
Maybe the bitter earthy tones are dominating, not in an annoying way, because it’s still a good beer!
An earthy imperial porter.
Seems to be best tasting right after opening the bottle. When the beer ha spend some time in the glass, it seems to loose a (tiny) bit of it’s body.
