2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330ml bottle (Ale House, Riga)
Light fruit - lychee aroma first, then tinned peach, including the tin. Taste has tomato, lots more fruit. Thin sweetish malts. Even slick palate. A bit messy. Lacking the nuts and the resins. The only positive is that it still covers the alcohol. Sweet, and messy. Thank you Mikkeller for helping me work out why I’m no fan of American Pale Ales - it’s quite possibly the yeast.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Flaske, 33 cl. Diset, ravgylden bryg med et stort hvidt hovede og godt holdbarhed. Citrus-noter. Mild karamel. Ret let aroma i fht samme bryg med engelsk gær. Meget velafbalanceret krop, maltsødme vs bitterhed.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, from realale.com, at home 27/10/13.
Pours almost clear golden amber with a big ole off white head.
Nose is light fart, caramel malts, bitter grapefruit, orange, grain, a little stale.
Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, orange pith, light sugars, caramel malt, hops.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light citric zest and restrained/muted hop bitterness in the close.
Ok APA but nothing I’d want to return to, not enough tropical/citric fruit or hop presence for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks Lance! Orange pour with a small white head. Aroma is much fruitier than the English style with a sweet malt background. Flavor is similar and a drier body.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to scotchzi! Pours a hazy golden brown with thin white head that leaves light lace. Aroma is light citrus hops, nice pale background, good balance. Taste follows, a hint of bitter finish. Not my favorite of the three.
