Draft, tasted with the Yeast Series 2.0 Lager, American Ale, and Saison. Small off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, cantaloupe, some orange, light pine resin. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, cantaloupe, some orange, pine resin, light earthy. Light-medium body, light stickiness.

Pours a cloudy amber into the glass, with a huge, stiff eggshell ice cream head that leaves thick lacing. The nose is of caramel, herbs and light tea. Flavors have caramel, biscuit, muddy bright citrus notes, copper, tannins, herbs and finishes with grassy hops. The medium body and soft carbonation make for a smooth mouthfeel. An easy quaff to the palate, I have to respect the brewer for trying this project, as this example, so far, seems closest to the style represented in the description. Definitely British in nature, it seems like a cross between an English Pale Ale and an ESB. Goes down well, and seems pretty decent, especially for an ambitious project such as this.

"the hops and yeast seemed to meld seamlessly together in this brew more thna that of the american or lager versions. no contrast, only a light, fruity character, slightly dry and earthy. Nice."

Less carbonated than American (which is almost explosive) Hazy amber with moderate eggshell head. Highly aromatic citrus hop aroma, some caramel, cracker, pepper. Lively mouthfeel. Hoppy flavor - quite a bit of citrus. Quite bitter on the finish. Drier. A bit unique.
