Draft, tasted with the Yeast Series 2.0 Lager, American Ale, and Saison. Small off-white head atop hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, cantaloupe, some orange, light pine resin. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, cantaloupe, some orange, pine resin, light earthy. Light-medium body, light stickiness.

Bottle. A big, dense, off-white head forms over a more or less clear body, dark golden in color. Nice lacings. The aroma is piney, grassy and orange peel-like, with a faint maltyness. Not much impact from the yeast I think, neither aroma-wise or flavor-wise. A bit smoother than the Lager yeast edition it seems. Nice bitterness all the way, even though the hops are more evident in the lager edition. Refreshing and tasteful, but not very interesting. 130510

Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, peach and orange. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a fruity and bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. A little sweeter and a little less hoppy than the lager version.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Mile High Denver. Pours a murky, dark orange appearance with a cream colored head and nice, spidery lacing. Fairly spicy, a bit earthy, chewy yeasty, a bit citrusy aroma. A bit tangy, citrusy, toasty caramel, chewy, bready yeasty, earthy, herbal flavor. Pretty ok.
