330 ml bottle @ Konttori, Tampere. Pours a slightly cloudy golden colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of strong apricot, pineapple and caramel. Flavour is rather fruity with pineapple, biscuit, grains and strong hops. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a very bitter and fruity finish. Good.

Less carbonated than American (which is almost explosive) Hazy amber with moderate eggshell head. Highly aromatic citrus hop aroma, some caramel, cracker, pepper. Lively mouthfeel. Hoppy flavor - quite a bit of citrus. Quite bitter on the finish. Drier. A bit unique.

Cloudy orange tan with great fluffy head. Soft hop and yeast smell. Hops bitter with a blanket of yeast over the top of it. Mellows out the final bite of hopes leaves a light aftertaste.

Bottle. Hazy copper with a medium sized good lacing white head. Aroma has citrus, knækbrød, oranges, cheese, feels more closed and subdued than the Lager and American Ale versions. Pretty light on the palate, light creamy texture, Dry hoppy finish, feels less dry than the Lager version.

beerbaaron (922) - Wisconsin, USA - JAN 19, 2014
Side by side with lager, American, and brux. Has been cellared for a bit so the hoppiness has been knocked down a bit. Pours a very cloudy amber. Very large, fluffy, frothy white head, partly lasting with lots of lace. Aroma is rather faint. Dry. Light grass and earth. Tiniest touch of fruitiness. Dough. Hint of sweetness. Lighter medium body. Moderate bitterness. Lots of grassy earthy dryness that grows through the finish.

Cellared for a while so the hoppiness has somewhat dissipated. Aroma is nice balance of maltiness and sweetness. A little grapefruit and lemon. aA little grassy, earthy. Taste is fairly hoppy, citrus, a little malt, bitterness. A little grass/earth in a slightly bitter finish.

This beer is pungent. Maybe even go so far as to say it stinks. But I’ll gvev it that at least it has a bold aroma. Noticeably lacking in most beers I’ve had lately. Not too bitter. Clean finish. Does not fade in flavour. Good mouth feel. Solid beer.

330ml bottle (shared by FatPhil, thanks). Hazy amber color. Small size white head, stays. Candy cane, caramel, hops in aroma. More candy and caramel in taste. Very drinkable beer.

330ml bottle (Ale House, Riga)
Similar fruity aromas, fleshy, peachy, but more sweet caramel. Loads more caramel in the retronasals, literally dripping with caramel and toffee. In the taste there’s quite a lot of nuttiness. Bitterness quite restrained. Finish quite short considering the initial resiness that makes it clear there are full hops in this. Pretty nice English bitter, but done in a non-traditional way. Covers the alcohol well.

Cloudy amber beer with a tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is soft and a little dry. Fine carbonation. Creamy dry malt with a little spice. Somewhat vague fruits. Soft dry finish with a mildly bitter aftertaste. Okay.

On tap at Crowbar, july 24th 2013. Hazy light golden body, nice big white head. Aroma of earth, citrus, bread. Good dry taste, hoppy, with a crisp pale malt taste. The english pale yeast suits this beer nice I think, with a dry and refreshing finish.
