Pale lager brewed as a part of Mikkeller Yeast Series 2.0. This series consist of identical beers, fermented with different yeast strains.

Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange, moderate to heavy yeasty, fruity, riped fruit, spicy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peppery, fruity, sharp, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130313]

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and citrusy, crisp hoppy. Light peppery. Solid bitter, grapefruity and peachy. Mellow yeasty. Smooth citrusy. Light fruity sweet impression, although dry finish.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, yeast, and some spices, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Cloudy orange coloured with a small white head. Frruity aroma of hops, citrus peel and pine needles with notes of yeast. Fruity flavour of hops, citrus peel, grass and grapefruits. Dry hoppy finish.

Clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is slightly soft and and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Airy creamy malt, semi dry. Nice fruit and hops. Mango, orange and traces of pine and tropical fruits. Finishes semi dry and crisp with a minerally sting. Little lactose in the aftertaste. Nice saison!

Keg at BrewDog Camden, London. Pours mostly clear, deep gold with a fine, creamy white head. Nose holds lemon and yeast, with hints of dry dough. Light to medium sweet flavor with ripe lemon, heavy doughy bread, some alcohol, yeasty dough, some white sugar. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet, lightly warming finish with strong bready and doughy malts, light yeast, light spices, some lemon. Somewhat heavy but fairly tasty.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Somewhat hazy golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Hoppy perfume aroma, caramel, citrus, peach, grassy notes. Hoppy yeasty flavor, bready, biscuits, hay, floral, some caramel, some dough. Floral hay finish with citrus and perfume.
