3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
The third of three yeast series bottles. Poured clear amber/gold with a bit of off white head. Aroma was pretty similar to the American Ale but had a much more noticeable fruit profile, with a distinct cherry note. Dry with a light bitterness. A bit more enjoyable than the other two.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle into my Orval glass...Pours dark gold with a very light ope head of three fingers, good retention, great lacing...The aroma is super light only a light belgian like yeast comes through, light grass on the end...The taste is yeast and grass, light and really boring.
This is a huge step down from the lager.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle in KC. Hazy brown/orange appearance with an orange-tan head. Sweet Belgian yeasty nose thatís a little musty on some pale to caramel malts. Fairly sweet Belgian ale flavor with some bittering hops on the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330mL bottle. Pours cloudy gold with a dense compact off-white head that slowly settles and leaves some lacing. The aromas of acidic fruit and earth from the yeast and citrus/pine from the hops fight a bit for your attention. Mildly sweet fruity "Belgian" flavours eventually make way for the medium bitterness and hoppy acidity. Medium bodied, high carbonation, very creamy with a lingering finish.

On tap (keg) at the Cask Pub & Kitchen on 12 February 2011. Amber colour. A bit hazy. Excellent mix of strong hop (grass, grapefruit and pine) and spicy Belgian yeast. Firm clean mouthfeel. Drank very nicely. Good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle that Jan & Charlotte passed to me at Kerstbier Festival Essen, Belgium, Dec 2010 Many thanks Jan & Charlotte for this consumed 18.02.11 Glowing orange amber colour, with white head and some haziness. Aroma is a little cheesy, taste is spicier than the first beer, soft in the mouth and yet the citrus also leaps out not as dry as the first beer but v.nice all the same. A6 A3 T8 P4 Ov14 3.5

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Cask and Kitchen, Pimlico. It pours a cloudy amber colour with a decent beige head. The nose is of varnish, pine, peach and orange peel. It has a foamy mouth-feel and initially tastes of peach, tangy orange and glazier cherry, it has herbal notes of thyme and nettle that lead towards yeast, pine and varnish. The finish is long and tart.
