The second of three yeast series bottles. Poured clear amber/gold with a bit of off white head. More of a caramel/brown sugar aroma than the lager, with a bit of fruitiness as well. Light bitterness, dry.

33cl bottle into my Orval glass...First of all, what the hell is American style, a quetsion that lingers throughout as you drink this...The aroma is just light yeast nothing going on...The taste is almost downright offensive bringing tons of chalky notes, which is sad as that is the flavor as the rest of the beer is dead. Skip.

Bottle in KC. Hazy, dark orange appearance with a sizable orange-cream colored head. Sweet, pale-ale yeasty aroma that’s slightly fruity. A little spicy, somewhat bitter, pale to caramel amber malts. Somewhat earthy flavor.

330mL bottle. Pours translucent nut brown with a small off-white head that hangs around as thick ring. Slightly malty aroma, some dried fruit and something like the smell of Nikwax(!). Malty flavour, some toast and caramel, slightly fruity, fairly mild bitterness. Medium bodied, average carbonation, fairly smooth with a slightly bitter finish.

Bottle that Jan & Charlotte passed to me at Kerstbier Festival Essen, Belgium, Dec 2010 Many thanks Jan & Charlotte for this consumed 18.02.11 Pours as the other four i.e. orange amber colour, with a white head and some haziness. Clean with the citrus shining through, quite a lemonyness. This is crisp, fresh and clean I like this because its subtle unlike some of the others. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
