2010-11-29, bottle, 7-5-7-4-15=38
Muddy light amber color (ok, the bottle was shaken enough 24 hours before); beautiful head, generous and compact, with a lace. The aroma, yeasty, is nice, but less spectacular than in a clean bottle. Good malt flavor, with strong yeast presence, and a pleasant degree of fruitness. Correct bitterness. Always good.

2010-07-14, bottle; parallel tasting with the Belgian Ale Yeast version, 8-5-8-4-16=41
Hazy amber color; generous head; beautiful lace. The fruity hop aroma is prominent, soft piney resins follow, and a light creamy touch replaces the spices of the Belgian Ale version. The body seems to be a bit rounder; there is a good caramel flavor, with some sweetness; good fruity hops and ending resins; strong bitterness. The final, caramel and resiny hops, is very pleasant. This version is softer and mellower than the other, better blended, at the same time without the (interesting) edges of the spicy touch.

Cloudy amber beer. Big off white head. Light soft palate, a little dry. Soft malt, lightly creamy. A little citrus before well behaved hops. Finishes with mild crispness.
